Mostyn6
was it £3m? can we have our money back?er... I've been looking at this for ages, and now it's clicked. I think you are thinking about Lee Morris.Lee Holmes was our left winger who became our youngest player when John Gregory picked him for an FA Cup game against Brentford I think, back in about 2002 or 2003. He looked like he had a bit about him, but think he did his knee in. He went to Southampton when they were playing well under Burley and looked really good but had another knee injury and then kind of disappeared off my radar.Lee Morris, more knee injuries. Had a stormer for Yeovil v Forest in the playoffs and then fizzled out of the game too. Mostyn6
Didn't he score and injure himself in doing it .Who? Morris? Yeah I think he scored from a narrow angle at full pelt against Sheff Weds and then went crashing over the barriers and sparkoed himself out! Gary Teale
Lee Holmes had that classic one trick, drop the shoulder and go down the line. The one problem is it didn't work Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/19131-lee-holmes/#findComment-821424 Share on other sites
