Curtains
Saw you mention this on another thread? Why? I mean I know he used to manage us but why does that make you full of support for him?I thought Phil Brown did well for Derby under very difficult circumstances and he kept us up and always respected his signing of Big Darren Moore who was great for us and did well for Billy Davies in the playoff final win against WBA which is a day I will never forget even though it all turned pear shaped with 11 points in the Premier League .Darren Moore was great for Derby particularly in the playoff final which is a day I loved it was pure ecstasy . Phill Brown comes off as a decent guy when I hear him on the radio, but I don't really have any reason for wanting him to do well. I wouldn't say he did well. He did OK but hardly ground-breaking stuff. Certainly not enough pledge my allegiance to him and support him in a game that means nothing to me.But seeing as we're supporting sides based on Derby links, I want Wycombe to win. Their manager is Gareth Ainsworth. He shares a surname with Lionel Ainsworth who I think did well for Derby under very difficult circumstances.
