If we brought a loan or two in, which positions would you priortise, obviously we don't need many

I'd say pacy LW, back up for Martin, pacy RB

I can see us looking for 2 more, it sounds crazy after spending £10m but i think we might after loaning some fringe players out.

Charles N'Zogbia would smash it in this league, don't think we should loan someone who may not start on his type of wages, would rather an Ibe kind of deal

Would take Cole or N'Zogbia in a heartbeat... Both would add to our attacking options up front... Thought it was a shocker when we didn't have any other wingers on the bench against Burnley...

would take either as a back up/competition to ince, freeing up a loan move for dawkins. So really it'd be the loan players wages minus a chunk of Dawkins wage

I didn't feel this warranted its own thread due to source, so stuck it in here.

The 18-year-old striker has attracted the interest of both clubs in the face of a few good performances in League Two. And despite only starting five professional matches so far in his career, the Englishman could be the subject of major interest from the two clubs in the near future.

Chaplin signed his first professional contract at Fratton Park last year and has recently been offered a new three-year deal with the fourth-tier club.

But the lure of Premier League and Sky Bet Championship football may test the resolve of Portsmouth as they have a job on their hands to deflect interest from elsewhere.

It is unlikely that the youngster will jump straight into Derby or Liverpool’s first team set-ups, but being viewed as a future prospect, the youngster might see a move to the top-two tiers of English football as beneficial for his career development.

He certainly has the potential to be a top player in the future and Portsmouth fans will be hoping that their club can retain his services as they look to get promoted to League One this season.
