Zag zig
“Finding my virginity” Part 2 autobiography of Richard Branson. Limiting myself to 3 chapters a day over Christmas, it’s a fun read for an autobiography, quite a character. The man has so many stories to tell. TimRam
Mark Evans Dirty Deeds: My Life Inside/Outside of AC/DC. Evans was the bass player on their first few albums. Very good and worth buying to get an idea of the early years of AC/DC.
mrdave85
Was gifted The Secret Footballer: What Stays on Tour... for Christmas. Finding this one a bit more tedious than previous, goes on about what the clubs/hotels were like more than the usual behind the scenes stuff. I'd be interested to see if there's anything damning (that we didn't already know in there), being as both men aren't alive to dispute anything he says. Having worked for the man, I have my own doubts about his integrity.
EssendonRam
Just started Bloodlands: Europe Between Hitler and Stalin by Timothy Snyder. Fair to say it’s tough going despite being very well written; Snyder doesn’t spare you the details.

Van der MoodHoover
The History of Mathematics by Carl Boyer. Haven't got much further than ancient measurement units - cubits and ells. "What the 'ell is an ell?" I hear you cry..... Well.......a sumerian ell is about 0.4 of a cubit. Apparently
Phoenix
Currently reading 'Fallen Angel' - A biography of the legendary cyclist Fausto Coppi, who died mysteriously, some say poisoned. Been given 'The Secret Race', a detailed exposee by Tyler Hamilton of the incredible lengths they went to, to protect the US Postal cycling team, and Lance Armstrong in particular, from drug detection. 'The authorities had doctors, we had better doctors'. Can't wait Also given 2017 Wisden, just the 1,536 pages so should be a quick read!

A few books that deal with Lance Armstrong tend to get bogged down in legal stuff but Tyler's book deals with his own story well.
