Franchise scum will always be franchise scum regardless of what league they compete in. It's a shame we have to let the thieving gits into our stadium though.

Good manager apparently........nudge nudge wink wink.

Big shame.

Never forgive, never forget. I'll never step foot in their stadium.

Their current 'fans' make me sick.

Bit harsh on the younger fans. If there is no football team in Milton Keynes, then surely they have every right to support their local club regardless of its background.

Any fan of them ought to be following whoever the options were prior to them stealing another team.

Disgusting franchise club.  I think they'll exceed Forest for who I wish the worst for in the division next season.

I think it's bad what they did, but to label their fans as "scum" is a bit far.

I can understand the hatred for the former Wimbledon fans who went to support Dons, but it's unfair on the newer and younger fans. They're just supporting their local team - better than supporting Chelsea, United, Arsenal and Liverpool because they're good, surely?

I blame the parents.

Plus, yeah, as Mostyn says, move on. We could turn this into a big debate about the fiasco but all I'm going to say is read the facts and you'll realise that the choice was either Wimbledon was going bust or they were moving the club. They couldn't stay at Plough Lane.

Plus AFC Wimbledon don't play in Wimbledon and have never done, just a thought....

Never. Arsenal should move back to Woolwich, Manchester United should move back to Newton Heath and Nottingham Forest should move back into the city of Nottingham die

This one is hitting at least 30 pages, I'm certain of it. I'm not saying a word, I've got better thing to do than stick up for a skidmark of a club on footballs history, as much as I know the necessity of what happened.

:D

This argument has been done a few times on here. It wont be carried on by me, I can assure you.

I've already said how much I hate the c*nts.

It's not just a Wimbledon issue though. Milton Keynes didn't just take the piss out of Wimbledon when they stole a league place, they took the piss out of the entire football league pyramid. If Wimbledon had to go bust, fine. It's happened before (Aldershot, Accrington) and those fans rebuilt. In those cases one of the top teams from the Conference were invited into the league to replace the team who'd gone bust. That is the most logical, fair and sensible way to handle that situation. How is it in any way fair to award a league place to a city and a fanbase who had shown little to no interest in the various non league teams that had been set up there?

The club will always be an embarrassment to the English game because of the nature of it's formation. If the people of Milton Keynes love their football so much they can support a team through the non league pyramid like every other group of supporters of new teams have to. It is absolutely pathetic that they believe they were somehow entitled to special treatment.

I'll tell you what. How about I come around and nick your car? A few years later, when you've worked and saved to afford a nice new car, I'll drive your old one up and down your street tooting the horn. If you complain or criticise me in any way I'll say, "Move on. What's the problem? You've got a car, I've got a car. Why can't you be happy for my kids who are sat in the back?"
