vicky-27 Posted February 18, 2009 Share Posted February 18, 2009 Thought we played well first 15 mins then fell apart, hoof ball appeared again, Barazite was in and out as was McEverley, thought Savage was brilliant play wise and comedy wise - motm for me - closely followed by Common's - cracking second goal, shame Teale went off - hope it was more of a precaution than injury - whispers it was his hamstring? waiting to hear on ssnews but as usuall we are invisible. The ref was a complete disgrace, his decision led to their goal and would love to know why Hulse's goal was ruled offside :confused: - glad he won't be the ref on saturday ! Perky1106 Posted February 19, 2009 Share Posted February 19, 2009 We hoofed it a bit against Man Utd but I think that wasn't much chance of us out passing them on that night. I think Nigel needs to enforce a discipline (just like his Dad) of keeping the ball on the ground. Hulse's first touch is excellent but using long balls puts too much pressure on one player to do the magic. Anyway, a very positive match tonight.
