Curtains Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Great effort by the lads with 10 men for 60 minutes and 7 team changes. We have a great squad and I'm so happy with it. Onwards and upwards.
Guest Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Maybe harsh, but Roos is a long way from being first team material. Happy to see him play/try but there will be no place for him in Prem. Shame as he was highly rated Effort was out of this world. Just a shame both goals could be seen coming, and Wardy's miss never quite rolled into Bent's path
TroyDyer Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Given keepers generally peak between 28-34ish, I think selling Roos down the river at 21 is a tad harsh. Kicking is very poor though and would be my main port of concern now. He is a kid and will improve.
Rev Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 That save from the header second half was very good, looks promising to me every time I see him.
Mostyn6 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roos is better now than Grant was at the same age.
AmericanRam Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roos will be fine, young and has room to grow.
DEL Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roos will become a quality keeper and get better every time.
Ilsonram12 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roos has the best mentor available and will definatly improve
Curtains Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 We never gave up today which was very admirable against 10 men. Next 16 games in the Championship are the most important games in our long history IMO .

Srg Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Shame Mascarell had to be sacrificed because of his booking. He looked like a man possessed. A man who sees Thorne sat on the bench, perhaps? And to quote Big Yellow Taxi: "you don't know what you got til it's gone"... Forsyth is great.
Gritstone Ram Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I enjoyed it apart from the shocking performance by the ref. We were open and we could have won it but how we were set up with ten men we were bound to leave gaps.
CrimsonRam Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Said it in match chat at the end and said it to my brother as well, I was in my room screaming and shouting but as soon as it was over I wasn't disappointed, I was just filled with pride and love for our club. Was a nice warm feeling
-JW- Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I thought Roos was good. Warnock was poor before he went off, everyone else were not that bad at all.

Was a nice warm feeling Dissappointed but proud of all the players today. Proud of the management team and the fans today. Good to see George Thorne back on the touch line and looking so healthy. Great that Bournemouth drew thanks to Chrissy Powell and its on to Rotherham. PS I hope Gary Rowett also does us a favour on Wednesday against Boro.
mwram1973 Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Just show's how far this squad has come. We make 7 changes and play with 10 men for most of the game, against a full strength Reading side and we more than matched them. Ok we lost, but our 2nd string wasn't battered and we made some great chances. Well done lads. And if i'm honest, I'm glad we can concentrate on the league now.
RamNut Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I can't be doing with this glad-to-be-out-of-the-cup stuff. For the first time in years we have a big squad and there's only two big teams left in it. Great chance to get to wembley for a semi-final or even better.
SIWY Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Roos was good. Thought he coulf have done better for their first goal, but I'll have to see it again. He isn't a bad prospect, though, considering he's 21, and made a cracking save from a header.

Yes but that would put our rise to the Premier League in jeapardy .
RamNut Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Yes but that would put our rise to the Premier League in jeapardy . I don't see why. We have 6 easy fixtures now to sort that out.
