Perky1106
DERBY County will check on the fitness of midfielder Paul Green ahead of tomorrow's Carling Cup first-round tie against Rotherham United at Don Valley Stadium. Green did not emerge for the second half of Saturday's League victory over Peterborough United because of a foot injury. The 26-year-old, who broke a metatarsal last season, needed an injection in his foot to play against Peterborough. "He has had a bruised foot and did not train on Friday," said manager Nigel Clough. "He had an injection but it wore off in the last 10 minutes of the first half and his foot was getting more and more uncomfortable. "We will see how he is for Tuesday but it is giving him a little bit of concern and discomfort at the moment." David
Doesn't sound to serious then, wouldn't risk him against Rotherham give him time to get fully fit for Saturday.

sheepyderf
Pringle looks a good enough replacement for him anyway, he did well when he came on on saturday.
vicky-27
Green misses Rotherham with a bruised foot - same foot he broke last season - he may be available for the Ssausagehorpe game.

I think he will be on the bench, with possibly Hulse.
