Visa and Addidas too now

Looks like the politics of FIFA will get them out of there own mess. Cancel the decision and then I reckon no revote they will award it to us, but Nottingham will be replaced with Derby as the midlands stadium because they can't afford to do up the Shed

Afraid not, Russia hosting 2018 means we cant in 2022

USA or Australia most likely

Thats 3/6 of Fifas official sponsors

Just Coca Cola, Hyundai-Kia and Emirates

I should imagine coca cola will be outraged. When people disappear for complaining about their factories poisoning water courses in 3rd world countries, they seem genuinely concerned.......

Australia don't have the stadiums do they? Thought a lot of them were under 40k capacity.

US would be a fine choice, as they have the perfect infrastructure and nothing major would need changing

How about choosing a country that doesn't have massive stadiums? Because it's all about money that's why.

How many more countries will run up huge debts just to satisfy FIFAs lust for money to lavish upon themselves?

Bribery aside, if you are going to have a world cup outside Europe and Latin America, then the Middle East isn't the worst choice. The last one was in Africa, Japan & South Korea was 12 years ago and USA was 20.

It would seem unfair if USA had 2 relatively close together just because they are outside the main

continents for football.

The world cup has never been around the midfle east region or Australia so makes sense to be there. Unfortunately, there are very few Middle East countries stable enough to host it. Egypt/Algeria could have done it in past (near middle east) but not now.

Maybe FIFA were thinking like this and that's one honest readon Qatar won.
