Selby beats Michael White in a decider 10-9

 

Maguire out, last 9-10 to Ryan Day.

 

McManus leading Higgins 6-3. was 6-1.

 

Murphy beat Cope 10-9

 

Perry beat Burnett 10-7, plays Ronnie in the 2nd round.

 

Carter beats Xiao 10-8, meets Selby in round 2.

 

Wasley and Ding into a decider.

 

Walden 6-3 up on Wilson.

 

Trump, Fu, Hawkins and Allen start tommorrow.

 

Robertson Wednesday.

Wasley wins 10-9, the final two frames of the extra session, a ton in the first. A fluke in the last helped.

 

Jimmy White will lose his tour place if Wasley beats Mark Davis or Dominic Dale in the 2nd round.

Trump beats Tom Ford 10-8 in a poor game

 

Marco Fu beats Martin Gould 10-7, in a high quality match.

 

Hawkins and Allen beat both Gilbert and Holt respectivly 10-4.

 

Second round starts tommorrow with Selby v Carter and Ronnie v Perry, two first round games to be completed.

Robertson, Wasley, Fu and Ronnie have been the most impressive performers so far in my view.

Joe Perry 5-3 up on Ronnie O'Sullivan, fast paced game. 2 hours for the eight frames. Perry had a 99 break, Ronnie a 117 break. Perry 94% pot success.

Perry played well, maybe ronnie did 10 miles instead of 10k today. ;)
