Mostyn6 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Interested to hear/read how and what people did today. Personally, I went to a friend's house at 9am, had some bacon sandwiches and a couple of cans of stella artois (aka "do as you're told"!). Got taxi to iPro, had a bottle and a bet pre-kick-off (I had £3 on Keogh and £3 on Buxton to score first, and £2 on 3-0, and £2 on 3-2). Watched the match, wandered to the Alexandra after, but it was too packed, so 8 of us got the train to Matlock, had a few beers there, then back to Derby at 9pm, then to Tiger bar for a beer, then to Standing Order for one, now home and watching the FULL coverage I sky-plussed earlier.
Guest Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 i cycled to the ground from beeston just before kick off to get some atmosphere, then watched the game in the waterfall. only about 10 of us. cycled back past the fans listening to RD and post match re-action. will enjoy the legends game at long eaton tommoro bedecked in scarf n hat. cant see many forest fans going now!
Cisse Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Woke up to having a dream about being on a vacation in some nice foreign country. Might have been France. Yeah, yeah, it was a dream ok. Went to work and kept sneaking a look on the score. Went to a local restaurant after the work to eat some fish. Not the rotten one. Came home and checked some watch sites. Logged on here and listened some Shakira and Rod Stewart while having a couple of beers. Played a couple of games Madden 2007. Wrote this.
May Contain Nuts Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Woke up hungover, emptied my stomach of the night before's undigested pizza, lazed around, bus to town only getting in at 11:45, walked to ground, saw match, buses straight back home, lazed around on here again Um yeah that's a bit rubbish. Was gonna go out after but I only really have one football related drinking buddy and they were working straight after. Didn't fancy hanging around town hungover and alone
Cisse Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 You should have gone to the Brunny, yelled loudly at the door that Cisse is in the house and watch people flee. Then you would have been alone.
Dimmu Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Woke up five o'clock. Had good breakfast, five slices of stuffed bread. Went to play football but there was only five of us so we asked some lads who were kicking there too to play against us. We played five-a-side game, it ended 5-0 to us. Opponent was pisspoor and quite annoying too. Could've and should've scored more. Next we went to buy some booze, I only bought five bottles 'cause I had to study a bit at home. Three of those beers were trappists, one champagne and one was just typical lager. Have to say every one of those tasted magnificient. I should've bought more, I thought later. Then I watched the game. Everyone knows what happened, there's no need for me to drum it up again. (But I did put fiver to our win!) Next stop was pub where I met awesome girl! She was smoking hot eventhought bit too short for my liking, only 5'0". Later at her place she said I'm too much for her, can I call my four friends here too? I agreed, but I was having bit horny mood and thought "I could and should do better than five". Overall pretty good day. I wanted to give high five to someone, but there was no one. 5-0, I thought and wondered where I've heard it before.
jimbobram Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Nothing better than that...so happy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Angry Ram Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Up at 6 and in the car by 6:30. Get in the. Neppy at 8:45 and it's heaving, 6 deep at the bar.. Plan B, off to the Waterfall and it's full of Germans!!! Probably the lad who posts on here. Anyway we move to towels that they had put on the other sun beds and we are plotted up. Brekkie and beer are ordered and we are off. The lads piling the beer in and we meet another couple of posters.. Leave at 11:15 and head to the ground. The lads wobbling but that's okay, 7 or 8 pints at 18 is okay early doors.. Get in the ground and try to give the dogs some grief by the segregation in the concourse.. Nobody else interested, boring *****, so up to our seats. 3 rows from the back and 50 or so seats from the oppo fans and still Doris and Bert buy tickets up there and get all moody when people stand.. Why do they buy tickets there ffs? They should be in the north stand with Eddie planning their trip to Ipswich with enough toilet stops.. Grrrr. The lad spends 90 mins knocking the old boy in front every time he sings a song.. Sorry fella if your reading this you will know who you are.. west stand next time mate or drop Eddie a line and you can do the crossword together. After the game and back to the Waterfall for one and then home. Off to Will Hill to pick up the lads winnings and he's back on the beer.. Missus is asleep by 8, so watch the match again. Happy days..
PistoldPete2 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 In bed at 8.30 pm on Friday with the flu. Sleep til 7.30 am still felling rotten. Really worried I wont be fit for the game. Dose myself full of lemsip, knocks me out again so back to bed til 10am. Wife wakes me up, worried I hadnt died in the night. Im encouraged I hadnt actually died, and feeling slightly better I decide to go to the game after all. Obviously cant shout or sing , but there 33,003 others doing a good job for me. Lots of clapping by me instead. Half a lager for me after the game, then back to bed. Best day ever.
Philmycock Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Match followed by curry and beers in Chilwell surrounded by miserable red dogs. The missus got a good seeing to :-)
froggg Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 I'm waiting for Muespach's report must have been best trip ever.
ladyram Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Got up. Cooked brekkie. Wanted to set off at 9 but waited a bit longer. Walking around the house getting giddy then bricking it.. Parked up. Got to the beer tent before the heavies closed it cos it was rammed, then bought 2 rounds so we wouldn't need to queue again. Then went to our seats and enjoyed the big screen showing all our past goals against forest. Then kick off.. To the 12 in the chat room - wish you could have been there cos that was special. Last night, more beer. Very happy. This morning, only a slight headache and hardly any voice ;-)
YoungUttoxRam Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Left my house yesterday morning at 09:30am. Got home this morning at 04:00am, I daren't explain anything after midnight
zaragozaram Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Had to go to Guaro to watch my eldest daughter play in a football tournament. Lost both games but played well. Then onto Marbella Rugby club to video one of my GCSE PE students play. Returned home, after stopping off for supplies, to watch the game on Sky planner, having avoided the score. Won, walked the dog up the camino (road) to our local venta (pub) and sat outside in the warm air happily drinking a few tankes (pints). Muy feliz.

Curtains Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Caught bus to match as wife had car. Walked to the ground from town had a burger and onions from burger bar near Clough and Taylor statue Pint in fan park. Watched a great win and delighted with it all in West Stand with my lovely son and the great fans around me It really is great in West Stand Upper in the lovely IPRO Went to Subway for a cob and coffee. Wife picked me up so we went to Standing Order for a meal which was great. Very Loud atmosphere in the Standing Order hardly surprising after a great win by the SUPER RAMS. Got home watched The Voice and then MOD intermingled with recording of match. Then watched Rams on Footy League show first game. Off to bed after a good day.
