We gave them 2000 tickets i would givem even less than that after the ***** only gave us 2002 they did that on pupose.

In all fairness they have given every championship team that many tickets this year (or even less). They've permanently changed the seating arrangement for away fans.

Whereas you could quite easily argue we have deliberately chosen to give Forest less tickets than other teams this season as we trial them in next season's away section. Oh well.

Forest were given 2,700. That is the capacity of the South East corner new away fans section.

Although the club toyed with the idea of only giving them the same 2,000 that they gave us, the demands of segregation would have meant that 700 seats remained empty. John Vicars decided that it would be silly for the club to deliberately lose £14k. It is also a better test for the new stadium arrangements for it to be full - if it works for the Forest game it'll work for all matches. Of course the interesting point there is - what if it goes wrong?

I think they gave City less than that: however, it sounds as if several hundred City fans bought in the home seats: dangerous but fun.

Yeah, at first I thought we were being a bit petulant, but then I realised that Forest at home is the best test of the new away fans placement. Not only do we need to trial the actual seating but there's the intake of fans, concourse arrangements, policing positions, end-of-match dispersal.

We won't have any bigger games than this one, so if we need to trial all these new arrangements, we might as well do it when it's going to be tested properly.

It's nothing to worry about.

I'm in the North Stand.

There going to be fights kicking off in the stand and conces and i would moved to swc were out of the way.

I'm guessing there will be segregation in the concourses.

Don't see why there will be any more trouble at this match than previous matches.

The only time I ever remember trouble inside the ground was Sunderland and I think the police will be much better prepared for that sort of thing during a local derby.

There will be an increase on an already heavy police presence, I would imagine. I guess there are shutters in that SE corner concourse, similar to those in the South?

Pretty sure the newly installed shutters are going to be just after stair 46 going towards the corner, so basically where I go in.

I've noticed some new steelwork you see, or at least I think I have... could have been there years without me noticing!

Think its been there since day one. I'm sure I've seen video with away fans in the SE corner.

We've moved from our normal block D south stand seats to avoid being in spitting distance of the gumps
