swansea ram
You say Milk man, Rent man, Coleman etc, that we used to say years ago, mean nothing to kids today. They wouldn't know what coal is, let alone a Coleman. Link to comment https://dcfcfans.uk/topic/14055-just-like-your-mother/#findComment-567797 Share on other sites

Ewetube
My granddaughter is the spitting image of her mother (my daughter) at the same age. It's very uncanny; if we show our granddaughter a picture of her mum at her age even she can't tell them apart. They even have the same traits like winking involuntarily with the left eye when telling a fib. They are like twins born 21 years apart. Cisse
I've inherited a lot of from both of them. Also from mother's mother and father's father. My parents are not exactly pleased with that. sage
I have so many of my Dad's traits it's scary. More so than my siblings. However those who know me better, know I take after my Mum as well. I guess our personalities are like an onion, revealing a layer at a time. eddie
Do you take after your Mum or Dad or both of them? Do you find yourself saying things they said years ago or have similar character traits or skills? Neither. I'm alive. On a slightly more serious note, many years ago I walked into the New Inn at Little Eaton - and an old bloke who was playing doms looked up and said "Are you Ned's grandson?" (not "Reg's son"). My grandad had been dead 20 years and apparently I'm the spitting image.
