Mafiabob
Social media ain't the problem. It's the certain cretins that spoil it for everyone else that's the problem. However people react differently to abuse/slander on there. And there's a certain anonymity that makes it much more sinister. I can see how people can get upset and feel bullied/stalked etc and feel like there's no way out. I've been there
Mafiabob
And I also believe NO ONE deserves to get abused etc

eddie
Ever since Collymore done an article for the Mirror saying relegation from the Prem should be scrapped, my hatred for him has grown stronger. http://www.scotsman.com/news/uk/collymore-hit-with-sex-video-sale-ban-1-863032 The bloke is just an absolute c*nt, couldnt give a f*ck what anyone calls him. Do you advocate one law for some and another law for others? If so, who gets to judge?
eddie
There are enough people in this thread to get a good old lynching organised, because basically some of you are saying that two wrongs DO make a right. God help some of you if a paediatrician comes to live next door to you (and if you read The Sun, that's aimed at you).
EastKentRam
Do you advocate one law for some and another law for others? If so, who gets to judge? Me, I get to judge, I know a c*nt when I see one. And yes, it does take one to know one.
ossieram
I can't stand the **** Collymore, But there are other ways to piss him off without bringing race into it. And a lot of the abuse came after he sort of agreed with a Everton fan that called the Scousers murderers over the deaths of the Juventus fans and not just because of the comments about Suarez. ariotofmyown
Collymore is a complex character. Domestic abuse, dogging, mental illness, at times a brilliant footballer, previously a seemingly stereotypical thick footballer, now a surprisingly articulate broadcaster, sometimes talks rubbish, sometimes talks more sense than most mainstream pundits, anti-racist campaigner. Doesn't everyone think Lpool fans are murderers cos of Heysel? It does seem to be airbrushed out of football history though.
uttoxram75
I hate racists. Colllymore is a cnut. Not a black cnut. Just a cnut. On the subject of racism. Has anyone ever met an articulate, intelligent racist? Serious question. Do you know anyone who can persuade you that a human being is not as good as you because of the colour of their skin? All of the above depends on your definition of racist. Apart from Collymore being a cnut, obviously.
Alph
I'd like to smack Ulrika tbf. Tramp. I can think of plenty of stuff to say about Stanley without his skin colour even popping into my head. All that ammo and they use his skin colour!! The guy is a breathing joke!! There's so much to fire at him you'd run out of energy way before you needed to resort to his appearance! Racists are thick. They are extremely narrow minded and desperately need to broaden their horizons. Visit some places. However if I gave my opinion on a specific culture I'd be called a racist. Alph
I know racism isn't a laughing matter but do you remember Ron Atkinson's defence when he got busted? I've bought black people and was one of the first managers to give them a chance.

Prince Philip just puts his foot in it. Seems like 'national tresures' and royals can get away with all sorts.

Alph
You'd like to smack a woman? Well I'm not a 'would never hit a woman' kind of guy. Although I wouldn't actually go out of my way to hit anybody. Off topic, I know a lad who's missus used to hit him. He's a proper lad too. Was a complete shock when he regularly started sporting a black eye. My advice was 'whack her back'. I'm not really bothered if people don't like that. I don't hit my missus. She don't hit me. I don't hit anyone. They don't hit me. They do. I do. Worked for me so far. As for Ulrika. She's a tramp. I couldn't give a toss whether she even exists. Ramarena
Can't stand racist ****** and bullying trolls, theres no place for it in a decent society. But I can't stand Collymore either, he's vile individual. I will never forget him celebrating with Dwight Yorke after Yorke had assaulted Dean Yates with a pretty much career ending tackle, whilst Yates lay next to them writhing in agony. He deserve's no sympathy but the culprits do deserve to be punished.
Alph
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/25859320 Decent-ish article here.... I'm not on twitter but in that article it mentions 'people wishing cancer on children' I imagine twitter is like the roads. Put someone in a safe place (keyboard/wheel of a car) and they suddenly become the person they always imagined being. I don't know who's more stupid. People who think they will always get away with it or celebrities that feel the need to tell the world what they had for breakfast. I'm not on Facebook either. Too many cnuts use the Internet. 10ft tall and bulletproof behind a username. Here's an idea. Why don't the next time you're behind your deadly keyboard or steering wheel of power, you behave exactly like you would if you bumped into Stan Collymore in Morrisons or were walking in a public place. I walk through Westfield and I don't see hundreds of people threatening each other. People fighting because they can't agree on who goes through a doorway first. What the **** is wrong with people? Imo natural selection has really let its standards slip

Imo natural selection has really let its standards slip that's not too different to my thoughts about differing opinions. I've stood, sozzled in many a boozer, putting people right about football, and in spite of all those (with the wrong opinion ) disagreeing with me, it's never gone beyond a jokey "shut up you knob" or similar. Yet on t'interweb forums, people get really tetchy if they don't like your opinion.
nookiebear
The dogging thing was hilarious! If they wanted to wind him up surely that was the way forward??
