VulcanRam
That's ok, I thought it might be Martin Atkinson when I read mourinho's gushing comments about him after Chelsea's last game.

Carl Sagan
The same, Villa-supporting Marriner who gave Chelski the penalty in the 6th minute of injury time to rob West Brom of a victory at Stamford Bridge. Hope he's learnt the error of his ways and history doesn't repeat.

British referees are the least corruptible in the world

Carl Sagan
No referee cheats, they may get things wrong. But they don't cheat. British referees are the least corruptible in the world Not saying he cheated but he made one of the worst decisions I've ever seen, and left himself open to the accusation of bias having publicly stated previously he wasn't allowed to referee Albion games - eg http://www.toffeeweb.com/season/10-11/comment/fan/16339.html. For Sunday, having fallen for one of the most ridiculous dives ever by a Chelski player and been publicly humiliated and temporarily dropped from the Prem because of it, I trust he won't make the same mistake again. That is ridiculous. A decision was made in a split second not after slow motion replays on Sky. The person you should be criticizing is the player who you say dived. Andre Marriner is a top referee. Pleased to have him at Derby but the players must he aware that it will be refereed like Premier game so no diving into daft tackles.
Mafiabob
Ask Stuart sausagewell. Poor decisions yes , cheat? No. Players make poor decisions too. We are only human.
davenportram
The last time he refereed a Chelsea game he booked 10 players 3 for Chelsea and 7 for West Brom (no wonder they don't like him)
