Hassan Kachloul - Morroccan, now 40 years old, played 85 times for Southampton and 22 times for Villa. Not quite as famous as his Morroccan team mate, Chipo. According to Wiki, he had a trial with us in 2005 and retired when we didn't sign him!

Now a property developer!

Clive Mendonca - Most famous for his spell at Charlton, he was a prolific striker, scoring 40 in 84 games for them. In 2004, he was voted as Daveo's Grimsby's cult hero. Having received money from the PFA to train to become an oil rig worker... he now works in a Nissan factory in Sunderland - aged 45.

Matt Jansen - Now 36 years old and playing for Chorley. Once thought of as the next big thing following a call up for England, in which he never got to play due to illness, he suffered a motorcycle crash which left him in a coma for 6 days. His career spiralled downwards from there.

ANDY REID

Career highlight - playing for Blackpool 5 times.

Was part of the Ireland squad until upsetting Trapattoni.

After the win against Georgia in Germany in 2008, Trapattoni’s first competitive game, the team were allowed a couple of glasses of wine in the hotel bar and Andy, as he always did on trips, got his guitar out.

It had just gone midnight when Trapattoni came into the bar, told the barman to stop serving drinks and – to the astonishment of the other residents - told Andy to put the guitar away. There was a brief scuffle but Trapattoni was able to over power Andy and take the guitar off him. Reid always felt that this was the reason for his subsequent exclusion from the squad.

Mutu is still going, believe he's at Ajaccio.

Kezman went on to Atletico, Fenerbache and PSG... his goal record is still unbelievable. 200 goals in 378 games.

Didn't he get sacked from another club? Fiorentina? For failing a drugs test?
