StaffsRam
Yep, mine too. My favourite film is, It's a wonderful life. I love all the old black and white horrors too. Yeah, the old monster flicks are great. Don't know if you have a blu ray player, but if you do, you should check this out; Bargain

PrivateDerby
yeah, skidded to a slow impact. Hit the front of a Chevette, and didn't do much damage to his, and the other bloke didn't make a fuss and took a cash payment to fix his. Lucky sod. Still remember him making us sit in it ages with the engine running when he parked it as he wanted to let the oil get around the turbo/ engine or summart? Lucky! That's another car that you never see now... yeah that's right if you switch the engine off as soon as you stop like you would normally, the oil feed to the turbo is cut which isn't good with it still spinning. You can get turbo timers now so you can get out, lock the car and sod off with it still running but i'd rather be annoying like your mate was and sit there smug. RodleyRam
Terry pratchett books for me give a different view on things we see around us. For the most part they can be seen a nonsense fantasy stuff. Bit if you actually look into it they parody life. My bro is a huge fan too, has everything he's ever done. He's a quality author, takes some skill to create and an entire diffrerent world to then mirror this world within it. Clever stuff.
RodleyRam
Food & drink for me, eating and cooking. I love cooking for other people, pushing the boat out and trying out new things, new flavour combinations etc. I like that it's creative and how the raw ingredients change states and combine to make something tastier than the initial ingredients would if they were eaten in isolation. I like the socialising aspect, the sampling of other people's cultures and being able to share ideas. If I could do anything it would be to run a little cafe somewhere in the countryside or by the sea which specialised in home cooked local food, had an awesome wine cellar and microbrewery attached. PrivateDerby
I got caught by the fish bug in my mid teens. Trying to work on the missus to allow me another tank into the study. Its a hobby you can never be satisfied with as there is always something else to tempt your fancy, rather annoying at times. What's swimming at the moment SB?
