Low pass percentage though.

But most our attacks come down his side and he has a healthy number of assists. He also is fairly solid and reliable in defence now.

Yep agree. He made my week-end in Bournemouth enjoyable with his cross for the goal. He is ok for the rest of this season and could be part of a promotion winning team.

Think this proves that whoscored doesn't always give you the full picture, as much as anything.

No but it can certainly back some stuff up.

But yeah, a lot of 'ratings' on different sources are inflated by 'assists' but we know an assist is just the last man to touch it before the scorer. Also having a pass accuracy of 90% sounds great but where are you passing? Savage had like 88% or something stupid in one season.

It's good though. I went to see how Forsyth's hoofing had effected his pass rating and his long ball and short passing stats do back the hoofer theory up.

Martin has a low pass rating but obviously most his passes are intended as final balls.

I don't disagree with any of that. This whoscored website is absolutely brilliant, really is the best new football site I've been introduced to for quite a while.

There were two occasions yesterday when he was brilliantly played in behind Baaarnsley's defence (once by Bucko, once by Russell iirc) - and he trapped the ball further than Sammon does on a bad day. On both occasions, out for a goal kick.

Saying that, he did his main job well.

He does have a couple of moments per game where he reminds you he's not Bobby Carlos... other than that, he's a hero is our Brucie.
