Derby County Football Club has been working closely with Cedar House Investments in promoting the Plaza @ Pride Park development, designed to provide complementary retail facilities. We have been extremely impressed with the level of interest generated amongst proposed occupiers. However, with major new developments on the site close to the stadium it is felt that the whole environment around the stadium is due to change and become a much busier hub for leisure activities. The new velodrome and indoor arena will open next year and this will undoubtedly increase the level of activity around the stadium. Derby County Football Club and Cedar House Investments have therefore reflected on this and decided it would be better to wait for these developments to be completed and undertake a review of the requirements.
