Moved from Saturday 8th...so much for 'football should be played on a Saturday'. Why did they even come out with that statement? More games have been moved already this season than they did in the whole of last season...silly.

You do realise they don't have any power over this?

Sounds like you're only hearing what you want to hear. At no point was there a promise of refusing to move for Sky TV!

The statement you are referring to is regarding the club itself moving fixtures from Saturday to Friday, as they did last seasons for 'competitive edge'. Which really meant Nige's missus wanted him to paint the spare room on Saturday afternoon ;)

Derby dont really have a say if its a Sky game.

They just meant normal games will have a Saturday 3 o'clock preference.

Ok so if the statement was only in reference to friday night games then I suppose I am misinterpreting the statement...not hearing what I want to though. Lets not just make presumptions like that eh.

I took it as the club meaning they were done with moving games needlessly from a Saturday. I took that as "all things being equal, we like to play 3pm on a Saturday".

I don't think it's unreasonable to make allowances for TV and the Europa League following that statement.

Haha, yes obviously. Though you make a statement about games being played on a Saturday and it come to it that more are changed this season than what brought about the statement last season. I'm saying it seems silly. Am I wrong?

They only show the good teams on Sky ;) We're good this year.
