DcFc Dyycheee
The Football League @football_league7m TV SELECTION: Derby County v Queens Park Rangers has been selected by @SkySports for live coverage on Mon 10th Feb (KO 7.45pm) #TVgame
networker1884
Moved from Saturday 8th...so much for 'football should be played on a Saturday'. Why did they even come out with that statement? More games have been moved already this season than they did in the whole of last season...silly.
Asanovic
When you take in to account mid week games plus Sky moves, it makes it barely worthwhile having a season ticket if you can't get up in the week. Fcuked off wi'it.
MuespachRam
They better not move the red dog game, i have 30 tickets booked on a flight back Monday afternoon.........

At no point was there a promise of refusing to move for Sky TV! The statement you are referring to is regarding the club itself moving fixtures from Saturday to Friday, as they did last seasons for 'competitive edge'. Which really meant Nige's missus wanted him to paint the spare room on Saturday afternoon
networker1884
You do realise they don't have any power over this? Haha, yes obviously. Though you make a statement about games being played on a Saturday and it come to it that more are changed this season than what brought about the statement last season. I'm saying it seems silly. Am I wrong?

They just meant normal games will have a Saturday 3 o'clock preference.

Lets not just make presumptions like that eh.
Duracell
I took it as the club meaning they were done with moving games needlessly from a Saturday. I took that as "all things being equal, we like to play 3pm on a Saturday". I don't think it's unreasonable to make allowances for TV and the Europa League following that statement. My birthday on the 8th, hotel booked, football in the afternoon, out around Derby in the night. Now, I have to cancel the hotel, and see if I can get my money back. Thank you very much Derby County.
