CumbrianRam
Well underway, but the TV coverage is starting today with Ronnie, Robertson, Ding and the Champ Selby playing amateur players in the new flat 128 system which has got a mixed reception from players in York. Don't expect these games to last long, 6-0s or 6-1s I think. There have already been shocks with the notable being, Marco Fu the number 7 seed and in decent form losing 6-5 to amateur Mitchell Travis Trump, Magurie, Williams, Allen, Higgins and Murphy all through to the second round though Draw is here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2013_UK_Championship_%28snooker%29 Live scoring http://livescores.worldsnookerdata.com/LiveMatchesList/Tournament/13630

David
What's entertaining about snooker ? What's so entertaining about NHL, NFL, Port Vale and expensive female watches?
Cisse
In NHL and NFL players won't lie down for minutes crying every time that somebody touches them. Port Vale scored a lot of goals last season. Might have been the most in top 4 leagues I think. Expensive female watches just happened to be so gay and fabulous. Mostyn6
I fancy a game of snooker. All my old snooker partners got bored of being on the receiving end of a drubbing and made out they had to put the family first.

Mostyn6
You any good then Mostyn? More of a pool player if I'm honest. But if I can a few games in, on a weekly basis, I start knocking in 40+ breaks every frame.

Mostyn6
Misspent youth........ probably. Maybe well spent. I did spend basically the age of 8 to 14 at Stockbrook Street community centre (known as Reg's), playing football, table tennis, pool, snooker and frostbite on the old atari 2000.
