England v Chile

It's a friendly. Try some stuff.

What did we learn? Lallana and Barkley are ready for more and Cole is still better than Baines.

Everything else we already knew. We like to chase shadows so much that we are prepared to give the opposition the ball at every opportunity and we are as second rate as we've always been.

Once you get below Cahill, jaglelka & Lescott we're struggling for CBs. Jones & Smalling need yo stop playing at RB for Manure.

Lallana is worth another go. Same can't be said for Rodrigez.

Frank Lampard should be a sub maximum.

Ashley Cole wouldn't have got caught square on for their first goal

Milner must be great at giving head to be let anywhere near the squad.

Barcelona won't miss Messi with Sanchez in that form

Gary Medel looks like he should be playing in the Taverners league on a Sunday morning

Firstly, that's very true, we really lack any quality CB's. I remember when Jones + Smalling went to Utd I thought they'd become a really good CB partnership and them playing together for Utd would really help England, but they've never been played together at CB much. IMO neither of them are great RB's but have the capability to be a great CB partnership.

******* United.

Even them three are somewhere between average and very poor on the world scale.

Can't disagree with much else.

Milner is industrious and a great crosser of the ball but not smeone you want to see in an exciting attacking team.

All of our problems were summed up by the two short corners we tried to take!
