Not like you download anything is it From wiki The name Download was chosen for the festival for two reasons. Downloading was a dirty word in the music industry at the time, due to file sharing, and rock is seen as a rebellious genre of music. One year I will head over to Rock Am Ring - but as it's a week before Download and I've already got my tickets for Donington, it won't be 2014. 2 festivals in a week might finish me off.
