Mostyn6 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Why do I get so offended when I'm in the gents toilets at work or in a pub or somewhere, and I hear the toilet flush, and then I see some bloke walk straight out and leave the room without washing his hands? I find it sickening, and many-a-people automatically earn the nickname "shitfingers" when I see them do this! So far, I work with Shitfingers Dave, Shitfingers old Dave, Shitfingers Keith, Shitfingers Neil, and Shitfingers Simms. I've not been here a year yet and I've already renamed 10% of the people I know! These people are never invited to share my Rhubard and Custard sweets either.
Gritstone Ram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I call them washers or walkers. I always wonder how to open the door on the way out too.
bcnram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I have the same problem with people in a supermarket who do a big wet sneeze directly onto their hands and then start touching fresh vegetables. Disgusting people who get quite rude when I suggest that they go and wash their germs of their hands.
David Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Try not to think about it otherwise you wouldn't want to eat or use anything other people have touched.
rezner Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I work in food packaging and it's shocking the amount of folk who don't wash their hands.
Alph Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I always wonder how to open the door on the way out too. Yeah, hate the thought of touching that handle. Brrr
abertawe_ram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I work in food packaging and it's shocking the amount of folk who don't wash their hands. I think I'm just gonna pretend I never read that. Ignorance is bliss.
uttoxram75 Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Whilst in a pub never eat peanuts on the bar. You might fall off, stand on the floor or sit down instead.
ladyram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I work in food packaging and it's shocking the amount of folk who don't wash their hands. Oh my lord, what a horrible thought. What do you pack?
rezner Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Oh my lord, what a horrible thought. What do you pack? Don't want to put folk off their snap, but it's an everyday food wrapper we make.
Boycie Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Everyone needs germs, if there was no germs, we'd all die if someone sneezed in the same room. A little squirty hand sanitizer in thee pocket is useful if your bothered. Jesus, I hate to think what germs I get ripping out old bathrooms etc, a quick wash under the only cold tap in the job, and snap time. It's not done me any ha

Alph Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I'd rather stir my coffee with a bit of angle bead than think of touching a toilet door handle. Yuk
Cisse Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Anyone afraid of the germs shouldn't handle any money.
Gritstone Ram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I've been drenched in sewage a few times it's never made me ill.
Cisse Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 I've been drenched in sewage a few times it's never made me ill. So how was the City Ground ?
ladyram Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 Anyone afraid of the germs shouldn't handle any money. Or paper at all really, nowt like it for carrying germs. I agree that you need some germs, course - you can't eradicate every germ but you do have to control them. Washing hands after you've been to the loo is controlling them, there's no excuse for not doing so.
Mostyn6 Posted September 19, 2013 Author Posted September 19, 2013 yeah, but there are germs, there are bacteria, and then there is poo on people's fingers! Ends of the spectrum for me!
SillyBilly Posted September 19, 2013 Posted September 19, 2013 The tap at the sink must be germ-ridden. Thats why I don't use it. I know where my d**k has been.
