Frustrated at the minute.

Why we aren't chasing defenders, it's just sickening. It makes me think 'whats the ******* point if we aren't even going to help ourselves?'

Everything else I am fairly happy with, the set up.. the players in midfield/striking positions as well as goalkeeping positions.

But, I can't help but think a new back 4 should be looked at.

Clough has done a decent job. Not brilliant, not terrible. I just feel he has taken us as far as he can. This season we have the basis of a good squad, we just need that little bit of a boost from a new face that will improve the team in defence.

I have been a staunch defender of Clough, but this is a make or break season for me personally. He's admitted himself that this is his strongest squad, so I will judge him at the end of this season. If we don't make that top 6 I think the board need to revaluate if we heading in the right direction or not.

Last season you needed on average 1.5 points per game to reach the play offs, we are currently .5 off this total, so its imperative we come back with a couple wins after the break to get the ball rolling again.

Well, we've come to the point where he's not even allowed to reinvest the money that comes in from sales.

Clough is doing the best he can, and as good as any other manager would be able to do with the tight restraints regarding the budget.

The board said the money will be reinvested for the playing squad. Clough has said he is happy with what he has.

Who do you believe?

I have to ask, why are you saying he's not allowed to reinvest?

As far as I'm aware, there is money available (says Sam Rush), but the manager is happy with his squad (says Nigel Clough). Now either they're both telling the truth, or they're BOTH lying, in which case.....
