DenmarkRam Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Hey Derby - fans. My brother and I are going to attend the away-game and make some massive Derby C. support in october. Airplane and hotel are booked. When is it posible to buy the tickets for the Away-section? Do the awaysupporters plan to meet at a away-bar near the stadium - if yes: how do I find out which bar you guys meet before the away-game? I AM LOOKING FOR THE TRIP/MATCH Like a small child before christmas. First live-match in two years.
Stive Pesley Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 There is only one away game in October...work it out
froggg Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Kinell do I have to do all the work round here.....

With regard to bar, I usually go to Que Pasa, about 5 minute walk from Watford High Street Railway Station. It's not particularly nice but is usually quick and easy to get served, and isn't far from the ground. There's usually a few Derby fans in there too. I know there's a pub really close by that Derby fans meet, someone on here might know. Enjoy your trip! You've picked a great game, Watford are a good team which will make our victory even sweeter

We will try the Que Pase for few pints... maybe some other Derbyfans know the other pub you mention- Maybe there is time for oth of them We will enjoy it ... no doubt... ! Looking forward to see Will play live - so please Nigel - no rest or sell ! We normally organize some Derbyfan-meeting in Copenhagen on a Pub when the matches are on SKY. But... it will never be half as good as a livegame.
Badlands Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Odd Fellows is the away pub just a minute or so walk from the ground. Decent pub, nowt special, it does have a BBQ in the beer garden which is quite good for some cheap food. There's a few average pubs near the station and on the walk to the ground. I'd avoid the wetherspoons in the town, it's proper **** and the police/bouncers always seem to be on a huge power trip. Enjoy your visit.
Badlands Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 To add; Tickets should be easy to come by and probably available on the day, unless of course we continue our 100% away record Think adult prices are around the £26 mark, last time i went young adult tickets were available if you fancy saving a few quid.

NottsRam Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 http://www.ramsfans.co.uk/National.htm I'm sure National and international branch of the Supporters Club would be able to get your tickets for you if interested.
EastKentRam Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Yep, the Odd Fellow is decent, nice garden if the weathers ok. That's been the 'away pub' whenever I've gone.
steve_brown Posted August 27, 2013 Posted August 27, 2013 Hi DenmarkRam, Depending on your other plans, I would avoid spending too much time pubs in Watford itself as they're not great. There's a much better selection near Euston station which has a regular fast train service to Watford Junction (20 minutes' walk from Vicarage Road), or a slower service which calls at Watford High Street, which is closer to the ground. Decent pubs near Euston going from west to east include the Crown and Anchor, Brie Louise, Euston Tap (must visit), Doric Arch, Mabel's Tavern (Sky TV), The Lord John Russell, The Euston Flyer (Sky TV - gets very busy), The Skinners Arms and finish up in the Parcel Yard at King's Cross. I've missed a few off but you get the idea. Steve
Suffolk Sheep Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Doric Arch, Euston Tap and Brie Louise are indeed quality London boozers

Neon Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Last time i went to Watford Gap was when i went to Harry Potter Experience, it was a **** hole and i stayed in this hotel that you could hear the guy in the room next to us talking whilst i was in the loo.
londonbridgeram Posted August 28, 2013 Posted August 28, 2013 Hello Denmark Ram Myself and other London/Southern based fans usually meet in the Wellington, about 5 mins from Watford Junction station. There's always a mix of fans and it's still an easy (15 min - if you call that easy) walk to the ground. If you want one more beer though you can always get a cab from the station. We love to meet you there. London Bridge
