Neo
I think if they get off to a good start they could well push us for it,
Boycie
Nah!, not our average. They may get a few full houses but not consistant like us.
MrOrdinary
second they start losing there gate will drop again wouldnt it? there not mad like us fools!
MattyTheRam
They wont be beating us for top crowds... lets face it, they maxed out about 26 last season, avg 23 odd. Thats like winning every home game!, being top of the league for a long while and still doesnt attract the less "dedicated" fans. If they expect the same next season there in for a big suprise/shock. David
Average was 20,233, topped 30,000 for the final home game against Ssausagehope.

derbydan
newcastle will be about 14,000 this season too if they are lucky
David
Doubt it, the Geordies will still pack out St James Park each week. If they don't go up this season then the attendences will start to drop.
derbydan
people said that about sunderland and look what happened there the geordies are just as fickle if not more so
David
I think you'l be surprised Daniel Son, Newcastle will walk the attendence charts next season with an average of 40k+, Boro will average at about the same as Derby at a guess.
vicky-27
Yep i think you are right David - we won't be first this season - didn't Newcastle have something silly like a 5 year waiting list for season tickets a while ago ?
David
Not sure to be honest, I know they were selling 3 year season tickets either last season or the season before which the club are refusing to give refunds on so many will still be active season ticket holders.
