ladyram
It's only going to get more expensive on the train, read yesterday that ticket prices going up another 4%. If fans are serious about car sharing, they ought to arrange a proper meeting, make a list of names, swap contact details and take away trips in turn. I reckon that's fair, then everybody's happy and nobody need feel out of pocket.

ladyram
How much do mini buses cost to hire? No idea. But I know another forum *spit* gets a minibus and so far there's been no rapes or murders....
davenportram
How much do mini buses cost to hire? Minibus idea is good but you would end up with the oldies driving all the time. Anyone who passed their test after june 2001 can't drive a minibus on their license.
G STAR RAM
How much do mini buses cost to hire? We hire a mimibus for £140. We also hire a driver who wants to go to the match and pay for his ticket on the proviso he drives us round the pubs before/after match. Try to get there for 12 o'clock to watch early match and normally head back to Derby after the evening match.

So if it's a 20 seater and everybody put a tenner in, that would be enough to cover all costs plus fuel? Then it's just tickets to buy.

All minibus companies tend to be roughly the same price, we have a 10 seater for Yeovil and is it costing us £45 each including ticket.
