Isn't Eustace a parasite according to McNufftie (or whatever his name is)?

Yes - and I've just sprayed my Scotch Bonnet chilli plants with soapy water. That'll stop him.

Maybe he found his level playing a League One club?

Lets not be naughty

If he does his job and protects that back 4 when asked to do so, he's been a good aquisition, as we were crying out for that type of player before......

Should be beating teams at that level at a canter!

Meanwhile, in the real World of my 50 odd years of being around football, the cup competitions are full of upsets and teams that are expected to win sometimes don't.

Could never happen to us though :)

Oh but wait, didn't Clough get crucified for losing to Ssausagehorpe, Shrewsbury and others?

Now, it's the manner of the win that's important...perhaps we're improving after all!

Anyone remember the second time we became football league champions, going down to second division Southampton (relegated the season before) that season in the League Cup and getting stuffed 5-0 at The Dell? That bloody Dave Mackay bloke didn't have a clue. We should be beating teams at that level at a canter.

Just like non league Hereford v top division Newcastle United & Colchester v the then mighty Leeds Utd. I could go on Sutton Utd v Coventry, Burton Albion v Middlesbrough / Leicester City etc. etc. They should all have been beaten at a canter .... managers eh!!! what the hell do they know about such an easy game|??

I agree. The outcome of cup ties are always a sure bet. They’re an unbridled waste of time and I’m sure they won’t be around fur long.

No you're both right, and my belief that ONE league cup  fixture win in 5 years is pretty poor is wrong!
