Subman
Shocked! Well I thought kids could get a 'FREE' season ticket when an adult ticket is brought, well ok free if you purchase a Rams squad membership for the kid, £30. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/tickets/season-tickets/ "The Rams’ commitment to future generations remains intact with FREE season tickets for children under the age of 12 with every adult season ticket purchase, as well as season ticket ranges for 13-14 years old and 15-17 year-old age bands." Now you can purchase all the benefits of a 'Rams Squad' minus the season ticket for £15. http://www.dcfc.co.uk/news/article/rams-squad-membership-1314-876082.aspx So effectively the so called 'FREE' season ticket is effectively £15 and not 'FREE' at all. Very poor marketing by DCFC, and yet another twist. Oh well like the old saying 'Nothings free in life'.
rynny
The £15 offer is for kids whose parents aren't season ticket holders. So it's a discounted rate. Seems fair to me.
davenportram
Having read the article it says at the end that if you pay £15 you don't get the free kids match ticket with adult ticket offer on match by match sales. So it's actually £15 more for a full season of free kids tickets, or if you like £30 for full kids membership,£15 for a part membership.

Subman
The £15 offer is for kids whose parents aren't season ticket holders. So it's a discounted rate. Seems fair to me. Effectively it's saying the 'Free' season ticket is an additional £15. "Or for just £15, your exclusive membership will include all of the above with the exception of the 2013/14 Season Ticket or free Junior match ticket offer." Observer - I do agree that £30 is naff all to pay. I just don't see how you can state something is free when it's not. P.s. It's only midday so I've only spent half the day looking for something to whinge about.

Stive Pesley
This has been the case all along, from the first season that they introduced the "free" under-12s ticket. It's always free as long as they are Rams Club members – last year this was £20 and this year it's now £30 – a 50% increase I genuinely think the club are sailing close to the wind with the advertising standards authority here. It would leave a much less sour taste if they were up front and said Rams Club Season ticket for £30 with every Adult ST. We all know that it's cheap and well worth it but why the constant banging on about it being "free" when it is no such thing Another (admittedly failry minor) example of the rotten commercialisation of football
Subman
So what you are saying is that regardless of ticket it should be £30?What I am saying is if you get all the benefits of Rams Club minus the free season ticket for £15, then the free season ticket is not free at all it's an additional £15. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful I'm able to take my kids for next to nothing. I just don't see how you can say something is free when clearly it's not. Anyway rant over, I've got to go and find the edition of Watchdog I missed last week on I-player and also spend some time on he Asda forum as they have increased the price of my favourite strawberry yogurt pot by 14p and now it's marked as an everyday saver. davenportram
Last season it was £25 or that's what I got charged. This year all they have done is offer a reduced membership fee do those kids who don't go to games a lot.
The Scarlet Pimpernel
To the extent that I have looked, Derby season tickets generally are very good value (cheap) compared to others in the division.
Gritstone Ram
My youngest lad gets a free season ticket. I think it's excellent value for money at £30 membership. It also makes him very happy too and he's not missed a home game for around 2 years.

Perky1106
Oh no. Parents won't have enough cash to buy their kids a Nintendo DS to play on for when they get bored.
