Day
You don't just buy a pack of seeds from Homebase and sprinkle it with your plastic watering can m'lady, football pitches cost money, look at Wembley they paid £80,000 to get a new pitch laid for the FA Cup Final. vicky-27
Haha i know that but that's a lot of dosh ! Wembley has been ripped up i don't know how many times now - they say it SHOULD be ready for the Stoke pre-season game - will look pretty daft if it's not. MattyTheRam
aslong as its decent enough for the players, its good enough! never heard of the lads in the 70s complaining about the conditions on a pitch that looked more like a mudbath!

I read somewhere that it was graded by a lazer guided earth mover. To give it a slight crown to allow drainage. My lawn is better than that was. AND i pulled a groin muscle getting my leg over...the hoardings. I might put a claim in.
