Someone on here several pages back asked if he could see last seasons prices

I have found these but am not clever enough to post it on here ...............however

Within categories the ADULT prices are the same as this year ie frozen for 13-14

but every SENIOR ticket now costs 64% of the adult price instead of the previous 51%. I've done the sums!!

This is a change in basic policy and nowhere has it been officially mentioned .

Davenport - Re you comment re disabled facilities for 'away fans' in the South Stand. You absolutely spot on with your comment, as there are. Trouble is that 'the point' is in the statement - they are in the away end. I think it ids a great idea for home disabled supporters to share the facilities in the away end, trouble is that I doubt the club would lett hat happen. Also the away end disabled platform does have a very slow lift and it is only big enough for 5/6 wheelchairs. There are a few wheelchair places on the front row , in front of the away disabled platform. Thery are never used though, because the steward supervisors stantd there and also the police stand there, sdo no one woulkd be able to see the pitch. I'm sure the club would recognise that 'unsighted view' and knock at least £10 of a £425 disabled season ticket.

Its actually ok for DCFC to charge what ever they like for disabled season tickets, it really makes no diffeerence because most of the disabled fans I have spoken to have decided not to reniew, so it won't be a problem for them.

Forest diod the same 2 years ago and all it achieved was reduce their sales by 85% - a brilliant marketing strategy !.

No complaints my arse.

Has he not checked all of the forums? That is the official complaints procedure isn't it....if you are unhappy with something, rather than tell the club, post it on an internet forum...or am I missing something?

.

His PA had already replied to my email which raised the matter of the price increases for disabled fans as follows.........

"I am writing on behalf of Sam Rush, with regards to your recent email.

Sam would value the opportunity to discuss your email with you further, if you could provide me with a convenient telephone number, together with a suggested date and time that is best to reach you on, I would appreciate it.

Hope to hear from you soon".

Also I received an email from another party who will remain nameless which stated..... "they have been bombarded with complaints".

I actually did something to try to help the disabled fans, but please - feel free - carry on...... be a smug sarky ****.

I've nothing to be smug about my ticket price has gone up.

Congratulations on your work for the disabled though. Any chance you can put a word in for fat people with a family to feed too please when you speak to Sam?

Whilst it may seem trivial in the face of many others, I'm in the East Stand and have been re-categorised to meet the West Stand prices.

On a sunny day, I'd argue the view is far from comparable to the West Stand.

Coupled with the fact I go with my Dad, who is an OAP and has been hit with the stealth increase and a re-categorisation, so his ticket has gone up by £75 (37.5%) at a point where austerity is the buzz word, it means if he doesn't go (which he is threatening), I will also not be going either, as going alone reduces the entertainment further!

RAMS fan says he feels "betrayed" by the club after the price of his autistic son's season tickethttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1 was increased by more than £200.

Derby County announced changes to the cost of season tickets on Tuesday, which they said would mean a price freeze for a majority of fans if they renew by April 14.

Derby County fan Bruce Ward rips up his season ticket renewal form watched by his son Nathan.

But the changes will have an impact on some senior and disabled season ticket holders, including Bruce Ward and his son Nathan, 26, who have been going to games together for 15 years.

Mr Ward said he was shocked to learn that Nathan's ticket would be increasing by more than 100%.

The 59-year-old, of Beech Avenue, Willington, said: "We sit under the screen in the northwest corner of the ground.

"I got the renewal for Nathan's season ticket this week and under the new pricing system the ticket has gone from £180 to £390 to stay in the same place.

"I just cannot believe it, it's appalling. I feel betrayed by the club."

Mr Ward who has followed the team for half a century and is a lifelong season ticket holder, says he has spoken to several other people who have seen their prices rise by as much as £50.

He said: "I just do not understand why they are making this increase in the current climate. If they were spending the money on Messi then we would be supporting them but they aren't."

Under the changes, disabled supporters who are being asked to pay more this season can, instead, buy a £230 seat in another area of the ground. However, when large contingents of visitinghttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1 supporters are expected, such as for a game against Nottingham Forest, fans in these seats would be asked to sit elsewhere.

Mr Ward said this would still be a £50 rise and would be unsuitable for his son, who likes to have a set routine due to his autism.

Derby County chief executive and president Sam Rush said the club had talked to disabled supporters about the plans to evaluate pricing structures.

He said: "In particular, our disabled supporter liaison officer has held dialogue with many supporters over a considerable period of time."

According to Mr Rush, 80% of fans have had their season ticket priceshttp://images.intellitxt.com/ast/adTypes/icon1 frozen from this season and a wide range of value packages are also available.

He said: "Our aim has been to bring in as much choice as possible when it comes to watching the Rams.

"Despite reclassification in some areas, many fans, including young adults and disabled supporters are next season benefiting from price decreases.

"The vast majority of fans have had their season ticket prices frozen."

Mr Rush is full of 'B 5hit', The disabled supporter officer, came to a DCDSC and said disabled season ticket prices were to increase about last Sept/Oct, he said he could not give any details because it was still being worked on. He made a specific 'guarantee' about the max price in front of possibly 6/8 disabled season ticket holders and said 'it' was confidential, so I can not repeat what was promissed. The disabled supporter liason officer has NOT been back to discuss or share anything since, so Mr Rush makes things up. I am informed that the disabled suport officer was invited to the DCDSC on Mon 4th of Feb earlier this week, but I am informed that he stated, there was no need for him to attend, as he had nothing to contribute. This was the same day that 2013/2014 season ticket packs started to drop through peoples doors. So Mr disabled supporter liason officer, there was nothing of any relevance was there ?.

May I suggest that 'people power' is implemented and all disabled supporters boycott Derby County for the contemptuous manner they have been treated. Then Mr Rush can put that on his undoubtable magnificent C.V.

The offer of a free season ticket for life will not make me enter Pride Park again. I will however, pick and choose to go to some away games.

I honestly dont know why people are complaining about prices. We are one of the lowest in the Championship!

What a ridiculous post, isn't a 100% increase for disabled and 37% for senior citizens (a lot of whom will be on a basic state pension) something to complain about.....I would argue that it is.

I don't think that season tickets are badly priced overall, but price increases are always sensitive.

I think that shafting the pensioners and the disabled is distasteful and a huge PR mistake, I also think that any re-categorisation should exclude those who already have season tickets there. Fair enough if you chose those seats knowing the category, but to have it changed under you is just plain wrong. If the club needed to increase prices, it should have been across the board. Every seat should have gone up by c5%. That way we all share the same burden. It is unfair that those groups who will include some of our most cash strapped fans should face huge increases, whilst the rest of us are looked after.

Disabled people moan about not being treated equally and when they do get treated equally they moan. They get 2 tickets for the price of 1 anyway so its still a bargain!

The retirement age is 65. So why shouldn't they have to pay the full adult price until they retire???

Some people are just moaning because they are tight wods...

Derby offer excellent value for money so instead of moaning, back them, just like I'll be doing tomorrow at Sheffield Wednesday.
