Robert Earnshaws Workrate reacted to Curtains in Relegation watch
I wish we could go to the Stadium and drown out all the doom and gloom merchants

We'll draw or beat Sheff Wed on saturday.
And Cardiff will turn over Rotherham. Probably by two clear goals or more.

Cheers ?
Us, Rotherham and Sheff Wed are bloody awful.
By rights Wycombe should stay up on form over the last 15 games. The poor sods.

Quite enjoying this
Adebayo for Luton looks excellent, signed from Walsall in January

I know we’re terrible, but Rotherham are bloody horrible to watch.
Summed up when he’s just pulled the keepers arm back then when trying to throw the ball out.
Can’t believe we’re as bad as these lot.

Luton are poor, Rotherham are terrible. That we are in relegation trouble in a division as poor as this quite amazing.

Post taken from “I had a peek at the Derby forum” from Owlstalk.
“Someone sign up to the Derby forum and tell them to stop worrying ffs, they’ll be fine”
..............they seem to have taken the threat of relegation to a new level.

Derby v. Sheffield Wednesday at home, during last 10 years, P 8, W 4, D 4.

We're sheet, no doubt about that.
But our home record, even after Bielik injury, is Played 8, won 3, drew 2, lost 3, scored 10, conceded 8.
Wednesday have lost 7 of their 8 away games. Scored 6 and conceded 19.
We'll be ok for at least a draw.

Calling it now. We’ve not come back from a losing position to win once this season. We’ll go 1 down. We’ll all be having kittens. We’ll get one back, but Rotherham are winning, and then we’ll score a winner in the last minute.
If carling did last day relegation shoot outs.

Well, let's hope so,I sadly can't see anything other than another loss as the teams confidence is shot and most are moving on next season which isn't a good motivator.
Fingers crossed,eh.

Robert Earnshaws Workrate reacted to Rammy03 in Reasons why it has gone wrong.
I think the biggest thing is the playing squad. Not enough numbers, not enough quality, not enough characters.
We didn't replace Keogh, Johnson, Huddlestone, Bryson, Nugent etc. We don't have enough championship experienced players or leaders.
We let players like Malone, Marriott, Evans, Holmes, Jozefzoon go and didn't replace them. We no longer have options off the bench.
To put it simply we just don't have a good enough squad. That is the main reason as to why it's gone wrong.

Honorable mention to Jack Marriott. 0 goals in 12 league appearances for Wendies has kept us alive until the final day.

Exactly. Get Slaven Bilic in. Make it clear that the job is his for life and, upon his own death, will pass onto another family member until such time as Derby fans feel the need to storm the presidential palace we build him.

Mark Lawrenson.
Tempt him back into management just so we can then sell his best players from under him to Oxford.
