It's probably facing the reality of the situation. That losing home games at this stage is another nail in the relegation coffin.

It's one or the other. He sticks around,  suffers, trains, sits with the players and kicks every ball.
Or ..he goes away, clears his head, gets some perspective,  relaxes...and comes back with renewed vigour and is like a new player.
Brave decision by Wayne,  not sure its one I would have taken but his man management has been brilliant this season, so I'm willing to trust him. By the same logic it's not fair to slate Tom if he has been told to have a few days off. I'm sure it's been really intense and it may do him good.

Trust his man management. It seems to have got plenty out of Lawrence so far. Perhaps a mental reset will be good for him?

He was a idiot today and that moment of stupidity could have been season defining fortunately it wasn't and we move on he's been excellent this season let's hope he comes back with a bang 

Lawrence is a Ram.....??? as a team as a fanbase WE are 1......our support has been incredible this season, let's not stop that now....we should chant his name during the games he's going to miss....make sure he knows WE are still with him, and he is one of our own......once a RAM ???

Like I said earlier he has had a superb season, brain fade today, but hopefully he comes back and leads the charge to keep us up.

Might be an unpopular suggestion, but how about we give the guy a break? The whole team has battled so hard this season and Tom is arguably having his best season in a Derby shirt. Yes he made a mistake but we all do and it's pretty harsh to come down on him for one indiscretion. Everyone deserves a a break after one mistake!

A rash challenge to be sure, but the reason its so bad for us is that we will miss Lawrence's skills
for 3 matches. This incident doesn't take away the good things he has done this season.

I have to admit to being influenced by Curtis Davis’ reaction to Lawrence’s sending off.  He just put his arm around him as he went off. 
Lawrence has his flaws, so do we all but it said to me that this team is together regardless off the problems that are in our way.
I'm happy to share that response and resolve as this is a team that you can love and feel part of, isn’t it?

Can't believe I'm stooping to this level but how are we crucifying Lawrence as the biggest hothead we have when we're hero worshipping Sibley? And we're managed by Long Studs himself?
Humans do human things. It was stupid. Move on. People make mistakes. Do we really want to pile onto a player at this crucial stage of the season, after a massive three points today?
Our unity is our strength, be critical but be reasonable. Be critical in good faith, not because you want your pound of flesh for his error.

Having a great season. Shame about today, hope Sibley gets a run. Lawrence will be back and will still be a key player for us. 

That’s where I’m at with Lawrence, everyone in the ground saw the red mist, Rooney is so right in his approach, I just remember the stunning goals he’s scored that have put us in the place to be challengingly to stay up.
Yes he lost it, but let’s not pile on, he’s earned us so many points this season, we have no idea if it makes us weaker next few games, it could give someone else a chance and as Rooney said Tom a breather. So glad I don’t have Twitter, anyone piling in should think on, 4 games time, we might be needing him to inspire us again.

Nah, I’m not having defence of Lawrence after that today. Absolutely pathetic from a player of his experience to hit out like that. Cannot even begin to describe my anger at him when he threw away our man advantage, the forum rules won’t let me say what I’d like to about him. Pure petulance from a man with history of it. Could have cost us the game today, and could still cost us survival. Let his team mates down badly, and I hope he’s apologised to them all, as well as the fans. 
Comparing that to the other reds we’ve had is nonsensical. None of the others were pure petulance like that. There’s only one player in our squad who does that sort of thing. It’s a shame, because he is a great player. I thought he’d grown up with the captaincy. Today suggests I was wrong.

Not quite sure which tweets we can post on here.

I find it amazing how two footed he is. Seriously though can anyone else think of a player who’s scored such an array of quality goals on both his left and right foot?

People raving about his first goal, and rightly so, but that second….! ?
People old enough to remember will recall Liam Brady doing us with one like that for West Ham.

Absolutely no surprise here.    

That was a captain’s performance yesterday. Incredible. Finally after 5 years fans chanting his name. If that is his last game then what a way to go out. He’s been excellent this season and in the second half of his Derby career (last season was heavily interrupted by injury).
Hope he stays a bit longer and we can see more of that.

You only have to look at how other teams fans view him..before and after the Bournemouth game their fans were saying they hope their club goes in for him in January..they think he is a fantastic player..

You have never supported Lawrence as a Derby player….he is playing very well in an average team with limited attacking support and you don’t like the fact a lot of the Derby fan base recognise his contribution to this team is very good.Also a lot of us fans like the fact he gives us some actual craft and quality on the ball that others lack.Whilst Lawrence is a Derby County player he has my full support and certainly we are better team with him to watch and enjoy.
