Watching that for 90 mins would be more interesting than Spurs v Burnley

Yet another all Premier League FA Cup snore fest. At least there isn't the constant ultra contrived 'atmosphere' of last night. Looking forward to some better ties over the weekend.

Is there any such thing as “league 3”?
Fornah “wants to be here” because we have offered him a contract and, presumably, there is no one from a higher league sniffing around for him as their maybe for Bird.
That’s not a criticism of Fornah but neither should Bird be hung out to dry simply for being interested in furthering his career at a higher level (if indeed he has indicated he doesn’t want to be here as you seem to be implying).

Wistaston Ram reacted to angieram in Eiran Cashin
His dad was buzzing after the game last night. I could be wrong but I don't think Cash wants to go anywhere.
If it happens, it will be because the Club want it to rather than the player.

Wistaston Ram reacted to Ellafella in 2023/24 Player Ratings: Running Averages
Player Ratings after 22 Games
Thanks once more for providing your player ratings after each game. Table 1 and Fig 1 give a summary of how things stand after the most recent game away versus Wigan. Curtis Nelson heads the pack with an average rating of 6.99, closely followed by Cashin on 6.78. The Top 5 comprises 4 defenders so we can see what this season has been based on hitherto. Wildsmith has done very well to gain an above-average rating of 6.32 (6.0 is "average") given that of late he has had very little to do so limited opportunity to score above a 6.0. I'm currently working on some charts to show relative movement across the season; for example Wilson has shown considerable improvement of late, as too Hourihane and Collins. The data generally shows few surprises - I think the data has good "face validity" in that this picture will fit in with most fans' "intuitive" view of whom our best performers are. I'm a tad surprised that NML isn't higher but I often think that some players who set a high personal standard sometimes get marked down when they don't quite reproduce that.
Going forward, I will try and keep a more up-to-date analysis, but please bear in mind that over the last couple of days, I have spent nearly 9 hours mostly punching the data - it's quite time-consuming. I've also still go to do some analysis that some posters have asked about specifically. That will come if it shows anything of note.

I'm home and just cracked open a nice bottle of German Christmas beer in celebration. Guess it has all been said, but nights like tonight make the life of ram all worthwhile, this was better than Port Vale last season. I hope I get my voice back tomorrow, maybe the beer will help.

Just back. First thought... Match thread's gonna be an absolute doozy. Thank you fellow Rams, you didn't disappoint. And this on the same day that we discover Roymac hasn't got a willy too.
Time for a single malt and some group texts to Oxford supporting pals, I reckon.

Caught up on the thread, my only piece to add is that the Derby fans were excellent tonight. Even at 2-0 down, the support for the team was outstanding. Dont tell me that doesn't make a 1 to 2% difference to the players on the pitch.

Wistaston Ram got a reaction from cstand in Wigan Athletic v Derby County
Back home after a very satisfying performance, just lacking the goals we deserved. Sat with the home fans who were very impressed with how we played, less so with Wigan who were a shadow of the team who played at Pride Park. Looking forward to Oxford and nothing to fear if we can reproduce the performance, desire and hard work of today.
