Thought you guys played some nice stuff at times. The amount of times the ball got flicked round the corner by one of your two strikers to find another Wycombe man was infuriating.
My only issue was the time wasting in the last 10 minutes. I mean come on your seasons dead what’s the point? 
 
But can’t complain that a draw was a fair result.

Im angry that our players have fluffed easy chances that have led to this. I’d be pointing squarely at Warne had we not have created enough chances to win both the two disappointing games recently. 
 
Warne for his many faults has put together a team that has made it into the top 2 with 4 left to go and yet glaring misses in the Northampton and Wycombe games mean we are 5 points worse off than we should be and are now fighting for our lives to stay in the autos. 
 
We can argue the toss of how bad the football has been but we’d be just going over old ground and I’m sure we both see things similarly in terms of the football on show.

CBT missing that open goal is the worst player it could’ve happened too. As you say, looks a real confidence player. With NML on his back legs and Barkz only just back fit, we really don’t need CBT feeling sorry for himself.

The risk of having no control worked first half, we created 3 good chances. Second half we needed to change it and to be fair to Warne he did. 
 
No footballing intelligence tonight. The only glimpse of it was when Adams bought a free kick on the edge of their area.

Genuinely quite fed up with this team now. They do decently well up to the point they actually find themselves in a good position and every time they just choke it and we got back to square one. 
Whether we squeak up or not, this team needs serious changes.

Northampton MkII

Shame about Ward but I do think Wash will compliment Collins’ game pretty well. 
 
The only area we may be light in is central midfield but with Adams on patrol and doubt any man deficit will be noticed.

As long as we back it up with a win on Saturday.
Six points from these two games and we’ll be strong favourites. Four points we’ll probably be slight favourites still. Anything less and it will be in the balance.

It would offer people like myself more optimism if we controlled matches. Not going to go down the Paul Warne pile on because he’s got us to 2nd playing Warneball. But there hasn’t been many matches this season were I’ve watched us and gone this will be easy.
Just as you slip in to a version of comfortable we go and poo the bed like we did against Northampton. 
 
Of course I’d rather be in our shoes than Bolton/Posh’s but then again I’d rather be in Portsmouth’s shoes which is pretty much 1 win away from promotion.
I do think it will be a bad job if we can’t beat Wycombe with their cup final considered. But knowing Derby like we do, personally I can’t see us winning all 4 which does open the door. Which is were people’s worries like my own come in.

Pompey fan in peace, I personally think you boys will win all your remaining games from what I saw the other night you have enough to do it and you won’t need to sit back like you did in the second half. I personally like Paul Warne he comes across as an honest guy not like that arrogant Ian Evatt really praying that they stay down. Wycombe losing today was your best result but they are no great shakes. I was worried when we went there on Good Friday as they were on a bit of a run but we won comfortably. Teams that  play on the front foot against us we usually beat as we did against Peterborough the previous week who also were on a run of 5 straight wins. Teams that park the bus we struggle to break down like Shrewsbury yesterday we huffed and puffed all game and were fortunate to come away with 3 points. Most of us still are not taking it as given that we are going up, lose to Bolton then we have Barnsley on the Tuesday lose that and it will be twitchy bum time definitely do not want to go to Lincoln on the last day needing 3 points. Anything can happen this Saturday against Bolton but we won comfortably at Fratton 3-1 so it would be good to win that will give us 2 home games to seal the Championship. Anyway good luck Derby are to big a club like us to be stuck in Div 1.

It's telling that you use the words horrible, unsettling and sick to describe your emotions at this point in time - would you rather us be in Bolton's position than ours at this stage in the season?
You've already started dwelling on an outcome that may not even transpire. 
I remember driving back from Wembley after Fester had done us thinking the world had ended not knowing that we would get promoted later on with a new stadium too.
Try and embrace what's happening at the moment, if we don't go up this season then so be it. As I discovered with the playoff defeat against Fester it's not the end of the world. 
 

We won't win all 4 games, i'm pretty sure of that but I think we could win 3 of those final 4.
If Bolton doesn't beat Portsmouth then we have a great chance.
If they do, it's squeaky bum time and I think we'll bottle it.
Bolton V Portsmouth is OUR biggest game this season.
 

Horrible that all the pressure is back on us.
Then we have the unsettling matter of Posh and all their matches in hand so we don’t know whether they’re looking good or not.
Personally think Leyton Orient will be tougher than Wycombe. Would feel sick if we missed out on 92/91 points.

Yes, I said this a few weeks back, we could possibly do with Posh winning their next 5 (if neccesary) to stay within a point of Bolton, in case we need them to get something off Bolton on the final day.
For example we could end up going into the final day with Bolton on 90, Derby 89, Posh 89.

3 wins puts us on 91 points which should see us up. But Bolton are starting to turn the heat up and I’ve got a nasty feeling they’ll win their last 3. Need Pompey to do a job on them.
