  5. Is it me or does it always seem to be a defender. This season why not NML. For me he was the surprise package and he’s been so effective with assists and a few goals. Plus a crowd favourite and a regular. My vote is for Mendez.
  6. Derby to win this one. I can see a few goals going in. I’ll go for 3/2 to the rams. First scorer … Sibley.
  7. Derby to win. But not by much. 2/1 to the rams First scorer Nathaniel Mendez Laing.

  15. Great info. Just as I thought. 8 years! It’s about time isn’t it. If we can just overhaul Pompey and stave off Bolton.
  16. Win again. This time 2/1. first scorer … NML.
  17. Can I just throw this one in there. I’m not a Paul warne fan, but I strongly agree with Clowes that we need stability and the shocking fact is that Paul warne is about to become the 4th longest serving manager since Jim smith. Doesn’t sound that great I suppose but considering we have had 25 managers in that period I think that probably tells you something about how bad we have been at retaining talent at that level. I have already said he needs this full season and then we can make a judgement. I stick by that. The guy needs until May at least. COYR.
  18. Can someone help me. I would like to know the last time DCFC were “top of the league”. I mean one of the EFL leagues, not the Johnson’s paint trophy qualifying league or anything like that. I guess I’m thinking it’s about time we actually finally got there. But perhaps - like I suppose lots of football fans - I’m forgetting a recent time when we were top (possibly only for a few weeks??). It’s about time our fans can sing about being top. Don’t you all think? I am also be interested in how many times we’ve been too of the league since, say our first premier league season (was that 1996/7???) thanks for you help. No other reason than I’m just curious.
  19. Derby to Win 2/1. blacket Taylor to score first.
  20. We will win this one. 3/0. Collo first again for us.
  21. We lose today 0/2. no rams goals scorer.
  22. We grind out a win this time I will say 2/1. First scorer mr reliable for goals, aka Collins.
  23. The assets are worth whatever was paid for them. The valuation of those assets doesn’t have to be what was on the books of the previous company. However, the accounting policy on the valuation of a player via the length left on a contract might be similar to that on the previous company. The intangible asset here is possibly Bieliks contract. However this asset, in my view should have been significantly impaired. The carrying value which I’m assuming is around £2m seems too big especially given that he was later moved on to Birmingham at a price much less than £2m. So there must be other players within that valuation. We just need more detail, we’re just guessing here.
  24. No, on regelation you’re probably right. But that does mean that Bielik has a carrying value of £2m in our accounts. I suspect we made a loss on disposal of him then, which might offset anything we made on knight.
  25. I’m afraid we might lose this one Lincoln 2 DCFC 1 first scorer for us: collins again.
