  1. Looking forward to tonight. I predict a mid to late round TKO by AJ. I think he'll have a cautious opening few rounds working the jab, think Ruiz II fight, then when Francis tires (which he will), AJ unleashes.
  2. Not sure on that, he's been quite complimentary of Clowes and has ranked the accounts as a "B+"
  3. The last season's twist was absolutely wild and so farfetched. Wasn't the same when Jimmy left.
  4. I finished it yesterday morning. I didn't mind it but it did annoy me to no end. How hard is it to communicate your feelings?🤣 Feel like 90% of it could've been avoided lol. Have you seen The White Lotus? The main actor, Leo Woodall, is in the second season of that and he does a certain scene - I haven't been able to look at him the same way since then!
  5. Not yet, but I'm really looking forward to watching it, heard some really good things about it.
  6. Cruz Allen with another goal...
  7. We were under the cosh before the penalty anyway. They missed a sitter from about a yard out, that was the only reason it wasn't a draw before the penalty. That second half was only going one way and that was a loss.
  8. The last time Warne was in League 1 with Rotherham, they were 16 points clear of 3rd at one point and very nearly bottled it, leaving it until the last day to get promoted.
  9. Nope, other than offering him a pro deal meaning we'd get more for him. I hope he's had an offer put forward. He's just turned 17, so is able to sign one now - whether he'll accept it or not is another story, but I really hope he does.
  10. Man Utd, Newcastle and Chelsea all interested.
  11. In no particular order (apart from ATLA, that's No. 1) Avatar: The Last Airbender Game of Thrones (pre season 7) The Boys Breaking Bad The Wire Line of Duty Mindhunter Demon Slayer The Bear Prison Break The no comedy rule does get rid of some of my picks: Fleabag Peep Show Freaks and Geeks How I Met Your Mother The Office US
  12. The Holdovers Quite a simple plot, a teacher, a cook and a student remain on campus at a boarding school over Christmas. Mix of humour and heartbreak, with excellent acting from all 3 main actors (the hiring process for Dominic Sessa is a good read) who had great chemistry throughout. The cinematography was brilliant as well. Superb. Will Hughes/10
  13. Just can't see this at all, looking at the face to face, AJ looks relatively slim so I imagine he'll be during what Fury should've done and out-box him.
  14. Saw that the other day, think I'm leaning more toward Catterall now. Really shocked it's at 140.
  15. Zak Gilsenan is a great player so not surprised to see he's scored 2 for them. Former Barcelona (he was very young) and Liverpool academy player.
  16. No, but Premier League 2 games can't be shown on streaming platforms if there's a Premier League game on at the same time.
  17. Assume not as there's a Premier League game on tonight.
  18. https://x.com/BelperUnited/status/1758431500062667110?s=20 Farren Simons joined Belper United on loan
  19. Yeah can't see Taylor losing again. He'll know what to expect now and box his way to a UD win I think.
  20. 45% wage bill to turnover apparently. I don't believe that for a second.
  21. I could speak for ages on this and the importance of looking at underlying stats etc. But as a basic view, xG in terms of individual games is good surface level but over the course of a season, gives a much better picture.
  22. Completely agree. We got absolutely battered against Ipswich away, they had numerous opportunities. Finished 1.7xG - 0.14xG, with us only have 3 shots in the box. Again, Ipswich at home, we got dominated. We couldn't get near them in the first half, we had a small spell in the second half with our disallowed goal but that was it. Plymouth at home, we were 2-0 up and half time and I remember speaking to the people around me thinking how the hell we were 2-0 up, we'd been battered. Then the fair result came to be in the end. Against them away it was an even competitive game.
  23. I think the poor decision was the actually not substituting Hourihane off. He was a passenger all game anyway, I really don't understand what he offers from open play, whether it's in or out of possession. After his yellow card, he was even worse. If he wasn't captain, I don't think he'd be getting any minutes, he really needs to step up.
  24. He's just played 90 minutes against Man Utd.
