Can’t get over how sloppy we have been. Basic passes have been off, some horrendous first touches. Which is really odd because we’ve actually found ourselves is some semi decent positions. 

He’s just slow. Just he thinks he can play midfield as well as upfront.

Sloppy as expected. Kane giving it away repeatedly and dropping too deep. Shaw is rubbish and hasn’t been playing, Maguire the same. Dier no where near good enough. What do you do when your talent is going forward and you don’t have good defenders? Play 5 of the f******.

Just the 5 defenders tonight. At least two of which woefully out of form. And Kane no doubt dropping into defensive midfield, without Son to go the other way.

Good. Then Southgate will finally go. The FA are really a joke between Southgate and having employees the likes of Boothroyd for the u21s for a long time until recently. Entrusting the future of the international team with shocking managers like that. 

Remember a year or two before covid seeing SP in The Anchor in Burton - anyone who knows, knows it’s the biggest s******* imaginable - and he was there by himself, drunk as anything sat at the bar. He looked like he’d really seen some s***. Little did we know.

Absolute massive deflection, so wouldn’t quite call it lovely. 

However, he didn’t get a fair go here. People saw his height and thought he could be a number 9 on his own. That wasn’t his game and never will be. He has talent, and he wasn’t used properly in the first team by managers and fans didn’t understand him. 

It is in the rules but it’s if the bowler isn’t in their delivery stride. She was, so it shouldn’t have been out anyway. 

Beyond that, in a won series, bowling at a tail ender, it’s just pathetic.

I don’t think it’s anything to shout about that those numbers are better than ours across this season as we have just replaced the (interim) manager responsible for it. We have so far averaged 0.667 from open play so you are looking at an average of 4-5 more open play goals across an entire season. I just hope that’s enough to not be called “boring”, or “lacking incision” or “football by numbers” or any number of phrases I’ve read to describe our start to the season. 

Similarly, play those home games again playing like that and you lose more than one.
