One of our few players who based on last season who should be looking at higher teams than us if anything. Not going to league 1

I don't think it's loyalty really. If he had any half decent offer from another club he'd be gone, but no other club would touch him with a barge pole.
If he quit it would be years before he got another shot at a club the size of Derby, if ever. He'd have to go into League 2 or an academy.
I don't think the situation is even that bad for him personally. He's got almost a free hit while still learning in his first manager role, in the Championship,  with the excuses if he fails ready made. 
He's got one of the safest jobs in the country, any other manager would have been sacked with his record at the end of last season, regardless of the quality of players he had.

So I mean this not at all against David, but was there literally no point in the fans forum last week if what was said can still not be reported by now?

I've not made a comment on here for ages and watch this sad merrry-go-round, continue yeasr after this mess was forecast.
Sad thing is for me is that ten years of holding a season ticket - before that many other seasons, work and having kids permitting and previously owning a season ticket along with my parents in all the 60's and 70's years. Thus my claim of knowingly supporting the club since 1962; yet all this went out the window when this club could not be bothered to contact me or my sons to explain how we could use our paid season ticket games owed to us (From 2 seasons ago) to hack in gainst a new season ticket. Yet it's even worse, they didn't even contact me full stop.
THis club doesn't help itself.
I am in hosital so have an excuse not to go tomorrow. THis time though I didn't need it as this club offends me.

I couldn't agree more. Imagine if Neil Hallam was around.
Even simple, probing journalism about stuff like the ticket office being closed and the phone lines down, let alone everything else!
I realise that newspapers, especially local ones, are pretty much dead but you would have thought that these people would be fighting for answers on our behalf. Probably too worried about frosty relations with the club / getting cut out, but getting cut out from what? They don't get anything other than anodine interviews with players saying that they 'will go again' and how the performance 'wasn't acceptable'.
 

Completely agree. Haven't seen an exclusive out of the local journos for years. The majority of the DET is clickbait/ regurgitated tweets/ info on ex players/managers. They should have been all over this. How Nixon (if he indeed does) knows more than these guys is beyond me. The only thing they do that is somewhat useful is the match write ups/live commentary and interviews, but even those are superseeded by this forum, Rams TV and Twitter.

I'm not sure why you think that just because I have a different opinion to you.  I know a lot of people at the club, parents of academy players, first team players and their families, previous directors, which probably gives me a different perspective on the club because I hear the ins and outs of what is really going on.

When I watched The Real Betis game it was annoying that Sibley and Bird was sat on the bench and not getting minutes.
Rooney does seem to like OAPs on and off the pitch.

The comment about playing more academy players is a dig at Rooney, bringing the OAPS in on trial!
