I enjoyed this video. It is about Man Utd, but also includes a few mentions of things that Rooney says to Derby Players.
It's not a comment on his managerial skills - just that I enjoyed a pro Rooney interview! And his humbleness seems genuine. Rashford seemed to respect Rooney. At least, he seemed to copy what Rooney was saying a few times.
It was also nice to hear Rooney referring to his wife, with them having been married for so many years.

Lets wait until we see who he's allowed to bring in - that might make it easier for him to decide! 😄

Yes it does. Two managers can do little with this squad, you want to see a third have a go. 😄

We had a dreadful start to the season and then when we looked like recovering a key player was injured - which changed the way we approached games.

Considering Rotherham seem to be our main rivals this season, how many of there players would you actually put in our team? 1 or 2 if that? There squads so bad they were even happy to take Jozefzoon of us.
Does this not suggest that we should at least be above Rotherham's level? does this not suggest that either the players aren't playing to there ability? or (more likely in my opinion) the coaches aren't getting the best out of them?

Quite an important company is Gellaw as I am prety sure it owns the investment in the Stadium. If I was the owner of that investment I would want to ensure that any registered charges on a fully satisfied debt were removed pdq.

No argument, I'm just trying to stick to facts so that when some other numptee posts something on Twitter, we can at least understand it. - I don't know which companies are including in the sale, which debts are associated with these, how they are being settled.
To be honest, I don't think most of us would be too surprised if a) The charge hasn't been satisfied in full or b) Mel hasn't got round to registering it. Who knows.

Are we to assume payments have not been met and the club has automatically transferred to Gabay?
As much as I cant see that being the case, it would top off a cracking week.

Mel already tried the same thing as Leicester and Wolves - i.e spend loads of money, break ffp and hope you go up before the EFL can touch you. It just hasnt worked in our case
Or are you referring to that time Leicester went into administration and shafted all the local businesses around them, because we might be able to do that soon as well if you want.

Why can’t we find someone decent to take us over. Like Leicester, Wolves etc. Seems like we’re just left with the also-rans, the dregs.
I’d rather Mel carried on than have these chancers take over.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the next bloke was Jeremy Keith’s or Murdo McCloud’s cousin twice removed.

This is what happens when a football club gets into serious financial trouble. When MM took over all I ever wanted was for our football club was to never get into the financial mess ever again promotion to the Premiership would be a bonus.

Mel did actually say on Sunday there would be more information from the club very soon including on the ownership issue didn't he?
I assume from that he sort of knows how he intends to take the issue forward.

Why do we have to wait until the Alonso option expires? Based on the evidence if I was MM I would publicly come out and say the deal is off the table, let’s move on.

Villa are one that annoy me. They had to sell their stadium to remain compliant (as we did), but they've had to do that even with parachute payments. The villa fans i worked with at the time really wouldnt shut up about them battering us multiple times, but it would have been embarrasing if we'd been able to compete with them after the money they spent.

My suspicion is that in a year or so, Wolves fans will be fed up that they have reached their glass ceiling and moaning that their owners can’t or won’t take them further. If you asked me to name the most boring team in the Premier League they would be up there.
Leicester have smashed through their glass ceiling and fair play to them for that. They are a model club though, there’s probably 85 teams in the EFL and Premier League who wish they were run so well. And they relied on breaking the rules to get out this league.

@therams69chin up mate. It's never easy being a Derby County fan. Your frustrations and passion captured a couple of times on East Midlands News this week paint a picture of that and so much more. @Angry Ramhad his doubts right from the off regarding the current board.
I tend to fall into the trap of sticking by folk to the bitter end, a loyalty thing, Nigel Clough etc hoping they can make amends or have had bad luck or been dealt a rotten hand etc. You mention Cocu and I believed in his 5 year plan, and then Rooney arrived, and Cocu was undermined, but Cocu like the true Gent just got on with it, but he began and carried on to look unhealthy in his position. Then you hear things like Hughton would not have come to work for us, when he was available, then alarm bells start to ring.
I even asked a member of the club a simple question recently about the fans being shown on the advertising boards, when we scored a goal, something the club had advertised on it's official website, to carry out, why it wasn't happening or was I not seeing it? or was it because we simply were not scoring any goals at Pride Park or had it being pulled and if so why, nothing on the official website explaining such, so simple things like that were falling over, which were seen as important things to get right at the club, not so long ago, that openness between the club and fans.
I hate to see our club struggling and I agree with the German model, with fans being on the board etc, but at the same time, you also have to consider the work, time, effort, costs etc the likes of yourself, 1884 Group etc have already put into trying to improve the atmosphere at Pride Park. It would be a hell of a lot more work and effort to be heavily involved in DCFC. It's hard enough just trying to follow the football club you love, and trying to get your message across with all the genuine best interests of the club for instance on this forum, without a few people wanting to drag you down, so never mind being heavily involved within the club.
At the end of the day, we all want what's best for Derby County Football Club, and unfortunately people make mistakes, we are human, we all make them in life, not intentionally and sometimes it's not easy to correct them, moving forwards.
We failed to beat Q.P.R. without MM, we failed to beat Aston Villa with MM at Wembley, there have been ups and downs along the way, we will move forward with many more ups and downs to follow. We carry on loving and supporting the club.
Try not to let it ruin your health and wellbeing.
    D.C.F.C. Love, Life & Unity.

    Where to begin...
Not appointed a rookie manager in Clement and then give him about 20 million to waste.
Not walk in the changing rooms undermining said rookie manager.
Not sacking managers on a regular basis.
After sacking managers, appointing their replacement who has a completely different playing style.
    Not mentioning the ‘Derby way’
Not spending millions of pounds on guff which means having to sell/get loans for the training ground and stadium.
Appointing Stephen Pearce as chief exec despite him messing up countless contracts and not keeping finances in check in his previous job as finance officer.
Basically, pretty much everything has gone tits up under his stewardship. Great intentions, heart in the right place, but it’s been a disaster.

We all know we are in big trouble, with abysmal leadership throughout the club. The multiple takeovers have been a farce, and right now I would be willing to accept almost anyone who can prove they have the money - Rush, Appleby, whoever.
