Mihangel got a reaction from DerbysLane in The Administration Thread
No! Crypto transactions are 100% traceable, what's not always easy to say is how much an individual owns.

But if you're a 30-something year old guy, with no history of wealth in the US, who claims he got it through crypto-currency trading, it wouldn't be that surprising if the checks were a little more intrusive...

Sorry my mistake I thought you said he had transferred proven funds.

AML checks would depend on the value involved assume the complexity of the provenance of that money.
If you have a £25k house deposit from savings and a £50k salary then this going to a fairly quick check.
If you need to show where £60m has come from and it's from crypto and/or other sources, is say 2 days is really ambitious.
That said, CK would/should know that all this is going to take time....

@belperram9you’ve quickly become one of the biggest spanners on this forum.
Please tell me if CK does takeover, you’ll stop supporting Derby. If you ever did at all.

I am proud of the bravery of my grandparents during that time, but I don't need to know specific dates of the war for this. Nor do I need to know the dates to learn lessons from history. The question was asked (along the lines of) "has anything happened on this day?" which was obviously in the context of Derby County. If dcfcofficial were tweeting about D-day then that would be pretty odd. To say people should be ashamed for not referencing d-day is just bizarre and obsessive.
I may also add that some of the bravest people during that time were those who chose not to fight.
We don't know what the present and future would be like if Britain hadn't entered the war or lost. There is a whole load of potential scenarios, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be talking German under Nazi rule now.

Mihangel got a reaction from David Graham Brown in Where were you when you heard that CK was a potless chancer?
I worked for many years for, erm, a large American card issuer whose headquarters are prominently next door to the WTC, it was very strange and discomforting seeing it unfold and knowing that we had friends and colleagues there. Our building was badly damaged up to the 30th floor which tells you how damaging it was. I was in the office in London btw.

Mihangel reacted to Rammeister in Roy McFarland Statistic
Here’s something from todays Times, that I thought was worth sharing:-
‘If Southgate picks Phil Foden tomorrow he will hope the Manchester City player remains a lucky charm: he is the first player since Roy McFarland in 1971-73 to remain unbeaten in his first 15 England appearances while winning as many as 13 of those games.’
I can imagine the bemused looks on peoples faces as they Google ‘RoyMcFarland’ and find out Derby apparently had a player in the England team back then.

The thing is, it's not binary is it - It is normal to retain a positive outlook but have some concerns about where things are at or how long it's taking. It's also okay to feel negative about the whole thing while hoping for the best. I think what bugs people is when the same handful of people come along every day and repeat the same downbeat mantra, nothing new each time they post, just repeated negativity.
BTW, it's always a good thing to surround yourself with positive people ?
