I think this just proves that some people like some broadcasters, while other people think they’re crap.
And other people like other broadcasters, while some people think *they’re* crap.
    Guess what? You’re all right.
Personally, I’ve got no issue with criticism and no problem with someone who doesn’t particularly rate me. I don’t really mind them telling me that either. But that’s just me.

Met Ed a few times staying at hotels at away games, He’s a Derby fan like the rest of us and is happy to chat about football ( and trains 😂) He doesn’t deserve this s***.

I lived in St Annes from 1967 for a couple of years. Really friendly place - people were in and out of each other's houses, usually with each other's furniture. Father had his first pub there. Wednesday was the busiest day - dole day. The place would be packed from opening - until all the wives came in to drag their old men out while they still had the housekeeping money in their pockets.
I was walking up St Annes Well Road about 10:00 pm one Saturday night, wearing loads of Rams paraphernalia (I think we had just won 5-1 away at Cardiff) when a group of gumps ventured in my direction - I was convinced I was about to get rolled when one of them recognised me as the son of the licensee of their dad's local. Apparently, for that reason, I was untouchable.

    No offence taken.
Gent is a lovely city - cathedral, castle, boat trips etc all are well worthwhile, but the city is synonymous with beer. The city's emblem is a golden dragon (Gulden Draak) - and that's also the name of the city's most famous beer. The Gruut is also part of its heritage - the Flemish government taxed hops extensively, hence the search for a substitute.
Brugge is a 25 minute rail journey away.

His health is his own business really. Why should he or his Mrs have to share that with anyone?

    Lovely city.
    Try the following bars...
Geus Van Gent, Barrazza and De Dulle Griet.
Also worth a visit is Gruut Brewery.  Gruut beers don't use hops for bittering - they use a mix of herbs and spices. A personal favourite is Gruut Inferno - an easy-drinking tripel.
My personal favourite brewery in the area is Van Steenberge (Gulden Draak, Piraat, Bornem, Brigand etc), but tours there have to be pre-booked.
    Enjoy.

Back in the late 1980's/early 1990's, I used to work at the Stock Exchange, and we used to have a 'team breakfast' there once every couple of months. The pub had a 'special' licence which allowed them to open at 7:00 am.
A huge plate of sausages, bacon, black pudding etc, washed down with a couple of pints of Fullers ESB - the perfect way to start the working week.

I normally adore 'bad science' monster films, but this is just Robbie Savage in a Derek Hales suit, drinking Carling Black Label and Coors Lite mixed with bleach.
I have decided to hunt down the perpetrators of this travesty of a movie and fire them into the Sun.
    Avoid.

Of course. Similar situation as George - leaving Derbyshire for pastures new, then the ECB feel that it's safe to call him up on the grounds that he must be OK after all.

First two overs were - well, THAT George, as we have seen on a few occasions in the past.
Fair play to him for putting the horror show behind him and THE OTHER George ended up taking 3 wickets.
