Eddie reacted to ramsbottom in Watchable telly
Kin is the best show of the year for me, really loved it. I'm very grateful for ex Ram John Brayford for recommending it...

Quite simple then. Withdraw the clubs from the competition.

Eddie reacted to Mucker1884 in End of season celebrations.
Although I imagine that the club wouldn't admit this publicly, I strongly suspect that when citing Health and Safety, it's not "we" they are thinking about. The safety of two lots of players, two lots of club officials, and a gang of match officials, on the other hand...
Not everyone on the pitch will behave like "an adult"! Sadly!

That bold bit is where the problem lies, imo.
I envisage the majority of the attendance (22k+) will scuttle off home having not had the chance to thank/congratulate/celebrate with the people that matter... players and staff.
Shame really... but utterly not unexpected.

Whilst others are on the pitch it will be easier to get served with celebratory beers apres match .

What it prevents is a 'lap of honour', which is the way the players show their appreciation.
When we lost at Hull, one of their 'fans' lamped Keogh, so I can understand the club being anti-pitch invasion.

Eddie reacted to Srg in DCFC Supporters Awards Night
I have a friend who was there last night, said he spoke to Fozzy who said "Don't worry, you've got me for another year yet". So, sounds like he's had an extension.

Nice to see young Kaitlyn Roocroft get the International Supporter's award, one I was fortunate enough to get in the 15/16 season.

How absolutely lovely.
I was fortunate enough to be named 'Supporter of the Year' back in 1978 when David Langan won 'Player of the Year'. It's still a great memory.

Eddie got a reaction from Alph in No replays in the FA Cup from the First Round.
It is an utter disgrace, but not unexpected given the cosy relationship between the FA and the Premier League.
If they can do this, then there is nothing to stop them severing the relationship between the FA and the EFL - and the next logical step being the establishment of a 'closed shop' Premier League with no promotion and relegation.

Eddie reacted to downsouth in Can you help?
I can't help with tickets, but I hope that: a) your Dad's progress continues; b) you manage to get him a ticket for the final day; but most importantly that he continues to progress his recovery. You don't need to tell him a Pompey fan sends him best wishes, but I'm pretty sure if others from the 92 saw this note they'd all be saying the same thing. Love to you and yours.

If there's anyone else out there that can help myself and a friend who wouldn't mind swapping seats for 2 tickets for the Carlisle game, we can meet at the Clough/Taylor statue...If you can here's my 2 seats.
