As a yoo f I was at Oxford with Eric Steele, they had a NI international called Paul Kee in goal. We had a training session when Eric was starting out, Eric said to me "I'd prefer to play you as he should not be a professional GK" I wonder what he thinks about Hamer now? At least Roos was an Eric signing who might come good.
If not, give Ravas a go.

Maybe that ones not one for preserving. Maybe give it to Watford to make them feel a bit better.
Could give it to bury but... well (too soon?).

As you guys know i believe in sharing these important parts of our clubs great history far and wide not keeping stuff hidden away in secret, its for all of us.
This i believe is the oldest known Derby County programme in existence, look at the date on it, October 2nd 1884 ! how awesome is that ?
It's our 3rd match as Derby County and it was our 2nd away game, the first being the woodsiders Great Lever away at Bolton that we lost 6 nil, then Backburn at the Race Course, lost that by 4 to 3 and then this game Notts County away, who's colours had been similar to ours choc and blue as detailed in the program. We lost that too.
    Blackburn was Olympic not Rovers
The first person to score an away goal at Notts County was Amos Smith. If you read match reports he was a bit of a legend in Derby, nickname was "jammer' and actually made more appearances in first season than anyone else, good ratio of goals too 33 games 17 goals.
the research was backed up by my good friend Jason Shardlow AKA the boy of the terrace who i did the shirt book with.

It’s not easy to understand the logic of a soggy end to lockdown in which the rules are relaxed arbitrarily. 2m social distancing is no longer required. People can travel freely etc etc. Crowding will occur in the streets, bars, toilets, and circulation spaces;  on public transport and in shared vehicles. Is it fair to put Police and stewards into situations where hostile supporters will probably start to gob at each other, and anyone else.
no doubt some people will want to go. Not everyone even believes that the virus exists.
    personally I wouldn’t go.
i have a holiday booked in august and I am unsure about whether or not to just lose the money.
I just don’t see how any crowding can possibly be safe.

loweman2 got a reaction from BarrowRam in Fire Safety Certificate For Flags
I was going to take my large flag down to pride park To put behind the goal but have been asked to provide a fire safety certificate for it as it is well over the maximum size, it looks like you can get flags treated and then certified, does any body know of any where local to Derby that I could get this done, I don’t fancy sending it in the post anywhere in case it gets lost as it is the old one off the main stand of the Baseball Ground, any help much appreciated thanks 👍🐏

I always thought that calico were the sponsors of the under 21s but turns out that a Calico is a large cat (Puma) and is coloured white, black and amber ! Just like the shirt ! A nice touch to what must have been a sample for the first season at Pride Park !

That is a fantastic training top. I've got the 1982 one from the club, would love to see Umbro recreating this one also. That 1979 Scotland inspired dark blue shirt would be great as well 👍
