Reggie Greenwood got a reaction from Crewton in Burton Albihappyiftheygodown
When I was growing up they were on a par and slightly smaller than Matlock Town (they had a tremendous side in the mid 70’s). That’s probably where they will end up back.

Happy Birthday @Ellafella 🍻 I have 5 years on you and grew up thinking we would be the Champions of England virtually every other year. I’ve seen the good times and bad since my first game in 1970 but still celebrate every win whether it’s 4-1 v Real Madrid or a 0-1 at Cambridge in League one. COYRS 🐏🐏🐏

We have to, and will, try to beat Carlisle. Hopefully by several goals, and hopefully it will effectively be over by half time.

Love them to go down. They look like and act like an irritating wasp on the side of a pint glass whenever August comes around. In a couple of years they'll be back begging Derby for a pre season friendly in the Bass trophy to help fund the tea and biscuits for the season. They've absolutely s*** the bed on overspend with the likes of Stockton and about 30 loans to dig them out the crap on a non league attendance . Reality to hit home shortly, stay tuned.

Never thought we would have a topic on those on this forum, but here we are, we are here because you know what, with Joey Barton wildly posting misogynist content over on X, it's about time they had some praise rather than criticism.
And they deserve it.

That is some achievement, fair play to them 👏

I'd think us oldies ought to appreciate it even more, we don't know how many more chances to celebrate life we've got!
And not all the naysayers are old - that there @Millenniumram is a kid, but he's a right miserable bugger! 😉
Anyway, just wanted to say I'm loving it and know plenty more who know how to live in the moment and enjoy it.

Absolutely. I’m 59 (today) and was lucky enough to witness from 1969 onwards. As I’ve told my sons, wring every ounce of celebration because success is rare in football. It’s just that we had a glut of it in the 1970’s. So, celebrate hard when it comes @DarkFruitsRam7.

It is,i am of the generation that watched the rams in the glory years and saw England win the world cup. Forget how lucky we were.

Celebrate the return of the Rams after very nearly being killed by Steve Gibson, Rick Parry, Kieran Maguire and that arse from Wycombe,
Go on the pitch/don't go on the pitch, just stay in the ground and enjoy the day then retire to a pub crawl round town.
Merry Widows, Neptune, Metro Bar, Tiger Bar, White Horse, Noahs Ark, Jorrocks, Dolphin, Bess of Hardwick etc.
If someone would be so kind as to shovel me on the last train to Utch it would be greatly appreciated.

I can remember a lap of honour when we got promoted to Division One under Sir Arthur Cox.

Reggie Greenwood reacted to uttoxram75 in Paul Warne
David Clowes rescued our club and appointed a manager who he believed would get us promoted back to the Championship.
It looks like that bit has been done barring a ridiculous turn of events.
What happens next? Lets leave it to David Clowes to continue to make good decisions, He's doing ok so far.

Been on this forum with you for well over a decade now Bris, for the love of f****** god please enjoy yourself
You’re not the CEO of Derby you’re a bloke posting on a forum, you don’t have to qualify that you want better results next season (Paul Warne is neither reading nor respecting your comment) you can just enjoy that we won’t be playing in 4,000 seat stadiums next year
No promotion at this club in 17 years (over half my lifetime btw, I was in primary school) and you’re sat here posting that we need to be better next season, cheers you bloody football genius
Feel free to reply but I’m out on the piss and shan’t be reading it

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Bris Vegas in Paul Warne
The reason why it’s more evident with Warne is because he won’t get more out of players. He isn’t a top coach like a Farke or Bielsa.
If our team is bottom three standard, then we will go down with him.
If our team is bottom six standard, then we will finish bottom six with him.
While some managers can get more out of players and have the team achieving more than their actual ability (Neil Warnock as an example), Paul Warne doesn’t fall into that category as shown by his Rotherham spells.

Not sure why this ever needs to be said.
How many football clubs have been promoted and not made a single signing?
We have players out of contract, Bird and other on loan players that will return to their clubs, what this exact team could do in the Championship is not worth even thinking about as it isn't going to happen.

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Kathcairns in End of season celebrations.
I think the players in 1996 went in the directors box with jim and lionel not round the pitch, to many fans on the pitch. The directors box was very close to the pitch there.

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Crewton in End of season celebrations.
Expressing concern about the club being fined or worse, or others not being able to enjoy the celebrations because some fans want it all for themselves is not being a "moaning b*stard".
But many will do what they want to do, I understand that. I just hope that, if there are any repercussions on the club, that they'll have the cajones to stick their hands up and admit they made a mistake.

Reggie Greenwood reacted to Tamworthram in End of season celebrations.
If fans just went on the pitch for 5 minutes (without harassing the other team or the officials) and then returned to the stand in order to allow the players to come back out that would be OK but, something tells me it wouldn’t quite happen like that.
Maybe I’m one of the miserable b’stards you’d referring to but I don’t think so. I know I’m not some 12 year old that feels the need jump around on the pitch just because we’ve secured promotion to the Championship.
