Tyler Durden got a reaction from S8TY in The Administration Thread
Yer but he did all that with money he didn't have and then pissed off when he didn't want to pay the bills he racked up with his stupidity.
But let's remember the good times eh

I agree. Absolutely blatant. It's simply not possible to believe that refs and assistants and the authorities are not aware of all the pushing and shirt pulling that goes on unpunished. It doesn't take VAR to see it, you can see it from the stands every game. That said, a VAR blitz of every set piece being checked for fouls and penalties and cards awarded would kill the tactic overnight, albeit providing a really crappy football spectacle. All this from someone who is not a fan of VAR...

I often wonder why a team doesn’t get their shirts made in panels, fastened together with velcro. Then any shirt-pulling leaves a complete panel in the hand of the offender. Case closed. Apart from one exception: if the panel of shirt formerly formed part of a Derby County shirt. Then it is simply a case of weak, ineffective velcro!

Still have memories of David Speedie doing us over in the playoffs.
Must be the most obnoxious football player ever

I think quite honestly he wants to get as much back from the club as he possibly can hence why he threw the club into administration to absolve himself from the debts which he recklessly racked up.
But I don't know anymore than you do so let's wait and see,

IMHO if Mel Morris was going to do the right thing then he would have done it long before now

Seeing as we've only scored 1 goal away from home in the last 5 something needs to change radically.
I'd settle for a cricket score as long as we finished with one more goal than the opposition

What's the Ukraine situation got to do with EFL League 1?

Given that our material assets equate to the square root of bugger all it's hardly surprising that we don't have investors kicking our door down wanting to pay to take on board existing debts that Morris welched on before he chucked the club into administration

That's kind of a weird thing to say how are the administrators responsible for making the club cheaper to buy, the amount of debt Morris left the club is fixed, the admins had to sell off players to generate revenue to enable us to see the remainder of the season out never mind reduce existing debts. There is a hierarchy in all of this unfortunately.

The biggest material asset we have is the "Golden Share".
This is a financial liability to any owner, unless the club is in the Premier League - in which case it becomes either a benefit or double the liability, dependent upon how the club is run.

I like the way you used the word bid like there are a gaggle of potential buyers fighting each other to pay for the debts which Morris saddled the club with
