I've been impressed with him so far. Good attitude, which Warne likes; works hard, and has improved. Has that little bit of X factor and one of those signings which goes under the radar. Similar to how some of our previous signings used to be like. I'm thinking similar to Micklewhite from QPR or Callaghan from Watford.

Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the funeral, give a final clap, or held Daniel in your thoughts today. It was a send off he would have been proud of. I could picture what his reactions would have been the day. He would definitely have approved, particularly of the buffet 😄

Halfway through the season. Fingers crossed for another 3-0 to Derby result 🐏 

The plan runs until Summer 2024, so we remain under some restrictions and doubtless more stringent compliancy than other clubs too and I don't see that being arguable. Also, just a hunch, but personally, I don't think Clowes will want us to be seen to splash any hefty sums prior to us at least having cleared the 25p in the pound we offered our creditors in order to escape administration. Perhaps I'm being naïve, but Clowes seems the absolute antithesis of Morris and I don't doubt for a moment that mending the reputation of Derby County Football Club has been very much at the forefront of his thinking. For that reason, I think signings like Nombe last window and this lad this time around are likely to be a real push even if they are feasible from a commercial / regulatory standpoint. I'd be delighted to be wrong though, I can assure you! 
As for the loans, I doubt many of the top boys will be in L1 and I think we are better positioned to attract some good lads, if not the top ones, purely because we are actually playing decent football right now and the dust is settling on an incredibly tumultuous period of the club's history. Put simply, we're no longer the basket case of the last few years and I think that definitely makes the decision easier for clubs looking to loan out younger players. Whether it plays out that way, well we'll have to wait and see, but I do think it's now a lot easier to send kids to us than it was even at the beginning of this season.
