Imo that's not an excuse for him. He has been used in various roles because under several managers he has not been deemed good enough in them attacking ones. Adams has come in, taken him 3 game's to show he is the best suited for that role, whereas Sibley hasn't and others perform better in that position.
As I said, my opinion, but rumours has it he has been offered around and we had no takers, come summer on a freebie, he should have them jumping for his signature if he is that good.

That disguises the problem. His all-round poor play is interrupted by the occasional good goal. Every manager thought the same.

Purely my opinion of course but I don't think Brown is anywhere near ready for our first team.

As it stands, he's arguably been the most successful of his Academy group, despite being discarded by Derby pretty early. Just goes to show some players develop at a quicker rate than others. Sibley looked a very exciting prospect at 18 but 4 years later he's a League One squad player while Whittaker is getting interest from Lazio and top scorer in the Championship.

Playing devils advocate but didnt we just have a run of 10 odd wins in 12 since he moved CH into the deeper role? Have injuries and people going to the AFCON played any part in our last few performances?

PS I dont like the style of football we play at all and would personally like us to play through midfield where I believe we have 2 of the most technical players in the division, but we cant argue the style has been effective at gets points on the board. We are 3 points off top after a slow start.

The team are not coached to have any control. Another midfielder will not help if Warne continues to employ the tactics he wants us to play football.
I say football. It’s pinball. Players must be being encouraged to move it as forward as quickly as possible, taking no more than 3 touches. Chaotic, gas out type football.
I thought we might go up with our squad automatically, even with him in charge. I am beginning to think not.

I was thinking this, but after chatting at the game last night apparently he wasn't his best v Oxford and admittedly I missed that game so couldn't state he shouldn't have been with any conviction.
In many ways I think Wildsmith has been one of the best signings we've made post-admin. Remarkably consistent which is rare for keeps below elite-level. On a free, he's been a cracking bit of business so far!

We really lack control in games, even the ones we play well in. We are susceptible to being punched in the mouth, so to speak. Burton did exactly that despite a fairly relentless and dominating performance up to that point.
It would be nice to see us slow the game down at times, recycle possession and make the other team chase shadows. We have more than enough quality in the team to make that happen, but it’s just not in our make-up under Warne and it will be our undoing at times - like Peterborough. Still, another win, so 10 in our last 12 in the league? Not all have been hugely convincing but I guess you have to credit Warne for that production - a more cautious approach probably leads to some of those being draws, etc.
20 games to go, we need to keep this form going as long as possible. A few extra bodies would help!

I don't think he's done anything particularly wrong, but he doesn't look as confident or as match ready as Wildsmith. I didn't think Wildsmith deserved to be dropped, but I'd happily see him back in as I think he's the better of the two keepers.

He want straight into Premier League football and coped, I personally don't think Cashin will be a premier league player but none of us know. Big jump from doing well in League 1 to facing some of the best forwards in the world

I have some very sad news this evening.  Daniel (B4) died earlier this week. He was just 38.
As you know, he has been battling numerous health conditions for a long time, but always remained cheerful  and was the most loyal supporter of his beloved Rams, home and away.
He was at the match at Crewe and gave his full support as always.
Daniel leaves behind a grieving dad, mum and sister. Our thoughts go out to them and we only hope they get a little comfort from knowing how well loved Daniel is by all who know him.
Here are a couple of photos that his dad agreed could be shared. I'm sure many of you have others, as Daniel loved a selfie at the game.
David is hoping to arrange a more fitting tribute in time, but for now please raise a glass in his memory and a good Derby win today. I am sure that's what Daniel would have been doing tonight.

Sibley looked a very exciting prospect when he first broke through, and still scores goals that no-one else in our squad seems capable of in certain games. But overall I have to conclude that if he was as good as some fans here seem to think, he'd have nailed down a starting spot in a League One team by the age of 22. And it's not just Warne who hasn't picked him regularly.

Their number 15 was their best player however I’m just glad we won. It makes me happier. I enjoyed Rooney and Thompson’s performances. I thought Forsyth was the best player on the pitch personally. He’s the gift that keeps on giving.
