As you may have heard on Saturday on Radio Derby, Tony Bentley had his last game as Burton summariser - according to him on Twitter it was down to new BBC policy. Steve Jordan who presents the weekend shows also suddenly left his role over the weekend. Then today, @Owen87ITK tweeted his sorrow to his BBC local radio friends on today's news. Basically all the different counties stations are having to merge for most programmes. Radio Derby's Sport at Six/Sportscene will be going with the cuts, to be replaced with a joint Derby, Nottingham, Leicester and Lincolnshire programme. This is also happening with the non sport weekend shows, afternoon shows with the night shows being totally replaced with one national show. Rest in peace regional radio, what a loss this is. I really feel for everyone affected, especially the likes of Dominic Dietrich who's only just started with Radio Derby.

I stayed at Praiano on the Amalfi coast a few years ago. Visited Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Sorrento and all the antiquity sites from Naples down to Paestum. Brilliant holiday, didn't meet a single Derby fan though! 
 

I took a bird to Sorrento back in the early 90’s thank god it wasn’t my honeymoon. I must say the place was lovely went down the Amalfi coast, Capri, Rome, Pompeii etc what a great place. Met a couple from Yorkshire who I think were Halifax or Huddersfield fans and I chewed their ears off about my hero Bobby Davison loved the food and wine.

Love the Amalfi coast me, we honeymooned in Sorrento.
Never met any Derby, but did meet a lot of southern newly wed couples.

My family aren't really into football.
Watched the 18/19 play-off semi where we lost to Fulham under Rowett.
Started following the team and club, made me feel like keeping a foot back in with my Derby roots now I live in the North West.
Had an incredible time watching the 18/19 season under Lampard. Was at Elland Road for the 2nd leg of the play-off semi - what a moment. Then went to Wembley, with a broken foot in a boot ?, and the result soon shadowed the pain from my broken foot.
It's been a ride even for the short time that I've been a fan.
My husband in a Burnley fan and that's where we live. Frustrating that we both got demoted so won't have the chance to play each other in the league.

Just a heads up for anyone who buys club merch online - returns to the online Megastore are pretty pricey.
Having to return my shirt (having big hips I need the width, but apparently that means the shirt has to have an arm length down to my elbow and in fact the whole thing be as long a dress, and that's just no good ?)
Buyer pays return postage, fair enough. However, it's done through a portal and I was charged £5.25 for a Royal Mail service that actually costs £3.31... bit cheeky!
Not going to bankrupt me, but more a case of the audacity! 
The return is through some company called ReBOUND apparently, I'm not familiar with them.

You're right about the shirt fit unfortunately. I bought this year away top in the same size as the pink 3rd shirt (which doesn't fit great but is fine) and they are not the same size!
Gonna need whoever hooked us up with the temp shirts for the start of season to send me an iron-on logo so I can make my own at this rate ?

They did say they were going to raffle some, so poor people had a chance of owning one. ?‍♀️
Otherwise,  all these shirts just end up in the hands of those that can pay the most.

Hi guys
My nephew, Jake passed away on August 12th aged 23. Despite being dealt a bad hand he enjoyed life to the full possessing a sharp, dry wit and a fondness for dressing well - the other thing we had in common ? was our love for Derby County!
Many of you will recognise Jake, a life-long season ticket holder in the West Stand attending matches with his Dad.
His family are orchestrating a minutes applause at the 23rd minute during the Port Vale home match on Saturday October 8th.
Extended family will be in attendance and there will be a brief write up about Jake in the match day programme. 
These tributes are becoming more common, but I think that because they are often not official and fan-led they are even more poignant - and it would be a great gesture for one of our own.
Assistance in spreading the word from members of this forum would be so very much appreciated.
